23 House Democrats are not campaigning for their re-election the GOP should take this opportunity to regain the majority of both the senate and house

Rep. Alan Lowenthal, a California Democrat, has stated that he will not run for re-election in 2022. The five-term congressman joins 20 other House Democrats in announcing that they would not run in the midterm elections. Republicans need only a net gain of 5 seats to retake control of the House. Lowenthal was honored by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for “saving our planet and boosting up his beloved Southern California town.”

Three-quarters of top Capitol Hill aides believe Republicans will retake control of the House in the 2022 midterm elections. Punchbowl News polled several top Capitol Hill aides and found that a whopping 73 percent believe Republicans would depose Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi as speaker next November. A top Democrat in the House has warned that the Republican Party is in a strong position to retake the lower chamber in the 2022 midterm elections. Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Sean Patrick, a New York congressman, claims that if the midterm elections were held today, Democrats would lose their House majority.

Tim Persico, executive director of the Maloney-led DCCC, presented statistics with incumbents indicating that numerous House Democrats are vulnerable to Republican opponents. And the once-in-a-decade restructuring process – timed to coincide with the 2020 census – is projected to benefit Republicans over Democrats. Donald Trump reportedly stated that running for a seat in the United States House of Representatives in Florida in 2022 would be an “interesting” idea. Former Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy predicted that Republicans will retake control of the House in November. Gowdy predicted that Biden’s extreme ambition will cost Democrats the House in November of next year.
