Hundreds of active military members and veterans signed a petition holding the US military leaders accountable for the mandatory imposition of the COVID-19 mandate.

The vaccine mandate was enforced in August 2021 after the Food and Drug Administration approved the Pfizer vaccine. During this period, the majority of the active military men in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps were required to get vaccinated or face dishonorable discharge from the armed forces.

The Department of Defense boasted that 98 percent of active-duty troops had been vaccinated by December 2022, at the expense of expelling 8,000 respected service members for refusing to get vaccination based on their religious or medical conditions.

On New Year’s Day, over 200 service members pledged to do “everything” in their power to hold military leadership responsible since no one has resigned or has been questioned despite the rollback of the vaccine mandate in 2023.

In the open letter, the petitioners said, “Standing upon our natural and constitutional rights, we hereby apprise the American people, that we have exhausted all internal efforts to rectify recent criminal activity within the Armed Forces.”

The letter also clarified that these service members do not seek separation but emphasize the demand for “restoration through accountability.”

These active members of the military slammed military leaders for breaking the law, violating constitutional rights, denying informed consent, permitting unwilling medical experimentation, and suppressing the free exercise of religion.

“Many service members and families were significantly harmed by these actions,” the military members expressed.

They also noted that because of this mandate, some veterans lost homes, while some developed illnesses after the vaccination. Worse, some lost their lives. Those illegally discharged were also not reinstated even after the mandatory vaccination was rescinded.

The signatories specifically called out former and current joint chiefs of staff, service academy commandants, service inspector generals, and service surgeon generals.

They added, “They betrayed the trust of service members and the American people.”

“Their actions caused irreparable harm to the Armed Forces and the institutions for which we have fought and bled.”

“These leaders refused to resign or take any other action to hold themselves accountable, nor have they attempted to repair the harm their policies and actions have caused.”

The signatories pledged to “recall from retirement the military leaders who broke the law and will convene courts-martial for the crimes they committed.”

They also pledge to push for legislation that will remove all retirement income of those military leaders who were complicit in the crime against the American people.

Some of the signatories are veterans aiming for Congress or state-level political offices. The majority of the petitioners are still on active duty.

According to Cmdr. Robert A. Green, Jr., the open letter is aimed to address the current crisis of trust in the country’s armed forces.

Cmdr. Green, who also serves as Navy Commander and the author of “Defending the Constitution Behind Enemy Lines,” hopes to “rebuild trust through accountability.”

He further said, “The letter may be appropriately called a declaration of military accountability.”

In November 2023, Lieutenant Ted Macie, a Navy Medical Service Corps officer, exposed the surge of damages acquired by soldiers inoculated with the vaccine.

Lt. Macie said on X, “There has been a dramatic increase in various heart-related ailments among fixed-wing and helicopter pilots. The figures show surges in conditions like hypertensive disease (36%), ischemic heart disease (69%), pulmonary heart disease (62%), heart failure (973%), other forms of heart disease (63%), and cardiomyopathy (152%) compared to the five-year average before 2022.”

This exposition moved Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt to call for the rehiring of all discharged service members with “full back pay, rank, and an apology.”
