“Well, make my day pal!” challenged a stammering Biden.
The 81-year-old presumptive presidential nominee of the Democratic Party surprised even his Party mates as he delivered a 51-worded spiel after a grueling five cuts in 14 seconds. Probably a record-breaker.
Biden boasted that he beat Donald Trump in 2020 and claimed that since losing to him, the Republican presidential nominee has not attended any debates.
“Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020. Since then, he hasn’t shown up for a debate. Now he’s acting like he wants to debate me again,” bragged a stammering, teleprompter-reliant Biden.
“I’ll even do it twice. So, let’s pick the dates, Donald. I hear you’re free on Wednesdays,” he said as if mocking Trump, whom he tied on various bogus proceedings.
Trump previously challenged Biden to debate him “anywhere, anytime, and anyplace,” and even recommended to the Commission on Presidential Debates to schedule the debates early and often.
His response to Biden’s challenge? “Let’s get ready to rumble!”
He also taunted Biden’s overly edited 55-second video.
“Crooked Joe Biden is the WORST debate I have ever faced — He can’t put two sentences together!”
He also agreed to debate more than twice “for excitement purposes,” and wanted it in a “very large venue.”
Although, he also acknowledged that Biden would not accept it because he is “supposedly afraid of crowds.” Or rather, on a more truthful note, “That’s only because he doesn’t get them!”
Trump elaborated his response with all the policies Biden has to answer for. He blasted: “Crooked is also the WORST President in the history of the United States, by far. It’s time for a debate so that he can explain to the American People his highly destructive Open Border Policy, new and ridiculous EV Mandates, the allowance of Crushing Inflation, High Taxes, and his really WEAK Foreign Policy, which is allowing the World to “Catch on Fire.”
“Just tell me when I’ll be there,” Trump said confidently.
Earlier, Biden confirmed in April during an appearance on the Howard Stern Show that he is inclined to debate the leading presidential candidate.
“I am, somewhere. I am happy to debate him,” said Biden.
Trump followed up on Biden’s statement and said to make good on his promise. He also suggested doing it on live television at the Manhattan courthouse last Friday.
Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, Trump campaign leaders, celebrated that Biden agreed to the debate and recommended that with all the issues the American people are dealing with, it is necessary to hold “one debate per month.”
However, after agreeing to the challenge, Biden’s campaign team followed up with their conditions, setting the narrative according to their terms. Here is the catch:
- No Audience
The event should be held in a TV studio, with just the candidates and the moderator present. “It’s cost-efficient,” says the Biden campaign, but in reality, they fear that no one would show up for the incumbent and he would be distracted by the large crowd that Trump usually gathers.
- No RFK Jr. or any other 3rd-party candidate
Biden’s campaign insisted that the debate should not allow third-party candidates, which meant that Robert F. Kennedy Jr, an independent candidate, was not welcome.
RFK Jr.’s presence who was previously a member of the Democratic Party poses a threat to the Democratic Party. Biden’s campaign is worried that he would leach on Biden’s voters.
- Limited News Outlets
Biden wants only left-leaning media outlets to moderate the event. Why? Well, the reason is plain to see.
- Candidate mics must mute after time expires
Or rather, cut off Trump’s mic when he tries to debate.
