Alabama lawmaker’s house SHOT AT twenty-three times in early morning—no injuries reported yet

Democrat Senator Vivian Davis Figures’ Alabama home was shot 23 times in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Senator Figures was not home at the time, and no injuries resulted from the shooting. Law enforcement is conducting an investigation into the incident and still does not know who the attacker was. Mobile police spokesman Lt. Christopher Levy told reporters that he does not believe the incident was “random,” although the motive has yet to be determined.

A neighbor of Figures told reporters, “At five o’clock that morning, I heard shots ring out and I laid there for a few seconds but I didn’t know whether if I jumped up quick, that a bullet or something may come through the window. I looked out of all the windows to see if I could see anybody walking around or driving but I didn’t see nothing. Just heard the shots.”

The individual noted that Senator Figures has always been a great neighbor. Figures’ has been a member of the Alabama state Senate since 1997 and has yet to comment on the incident.
