A new Federalist and Susquehanna poll reveals all-time historic-low approval ratings for Joe Biden and his administration.
According to The Federalist, the poll surveyed around 800 voters nationwide from early November through Nov. 9, 2021. The results show Biden’s approval ratings down to just 36 percent with a massive 52 percent disapproval rating.
According to the poll, one in five registered Democrat voters disapproves of Biden’s job as president and a whopping 50 percent of independents are now disapproving of Biden.
The poll also finds massive disapproval of Biden’s immigration policies. Only 23 percent of the surveyed approve of the administration’s immigration policies with 51 percent disapproving.
As soon as Biden took office, one of his first, among many executive orders was to overturn President Trump’s ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy that required asylum seekers to remain in Mexico until their cases are heard in the US immigration courts. This Trump-era policy along with other decisions significantly helped in controlling illegal immigration.
A U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk in August ruled to reinstate the Trump era policy. The White House earlier suggested that this program can be restarted by mid-November pending agreement with the Mexican government.
The poll additionally found only 34 percent approval of Biden’s economic policies and a widespread 51 percent disapproval with around 46 percent blaming Biden and Democrat Congress Members for skyrocketing gas prices. Only 7 percent of the surveyed blamed Republicans.
Within hours of taking office, Joe Biden had canceled the Keystone XL gas pipeline that was to carry millions of gallons of oil from Canada to American refineries. This executive order also revoked all oil and gas development at National Wildlife Monuments. Biden stated ‘climate change’ issues for overturning these job-killing policies.
President Donald Trump had re-issued a presidential permit to the Keystone XL pipeline back in 2017. Many of these Trump policies were responsible for record-breaking employment and all-time low gas prices, extremely in contrast to the current Biden policies.
The major contributing factor in the disapproval rating was the issue of Critical Race Theory (CRT). The poll found a majority of voters, around 58 percent disapprove of CRT in government K-12 schools while only 26 percent suggest the controversial curriculum should be part of public schools. Even amongst registered Democrats, 51 percent voted against the CRT curriculum.
According to the same poll, over 49 percent of black voters are against critical ace theory, and 61 percent white along with 56 percent Hispanic voters are also against the CRT curriculum.
The Critical Race Theory was one of the major issues in the recent Virginia gubernatorial elections between former Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe and Republican candidate Glenn Youngkin. Republican candidate Youngkin campaigned on ending critical race theory and defeated the pro-CRT democrat governor.
Another shocking revelation from this poll was about the trustworthiness of corporate media. The results show only 14 percent of the responders trust the corporate news media. Around 78 percent of the surveyed believe that the mainstream media “misrepresents facts to push a political agenda” this includes 85 percent registered independent voters.
