America First Legal (AFL), led by former senior advisor to President Trump, Stephen Miller, obtained national security planning documents from the Biden administration that paint a concerning picture for Christians and pro-life women.
One of the documents, dated January 29, 2021, nine days after Biden’s inauguration, comes from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Counter Terrorism and Threat Prevention.
In its proposed bystander training plan, the DHS included a set of videos each with a different type of threat to which viewers would need to respond.
“Choose Your Own Adventure” exercises included five different stories with three scenes to which DHS employees would choose a response.
The viewers would then discuss how to interfere with or stop radicalization and identify potential violence.
Examples of the potential “branches” of the stories include a young white man who seems angry with a racial minority, a young climate change activist, and a white male with children.
The one that seemed to target Christians and pro-life women, on-brand with the Biden administration, featured “Ann, a middle-aged pro-life advocate” who lives in “rural America.”
“Ann has always been religious but since the death of her mother, she’s become increasingly devout,” the scenario explains.
“She’s a regular in the small town community, active in several church groups. While she has always been protective of her four kids, she has become increasingly more concerned about the welfare of other children including the unborn.”
The video then offers three different scenarios, one with Ann calling someone a “baby killer,” another with Ann discussing a planned parenthood location nearby and how something should be done to close it down, and with Ann using “more militant language.”
AFL released the files they obtained with a statement criticizing the DHS.
“The Department of Homeland Security’s transformation into a domestic intelligence organization and a Stasi-like Deep State internal security apparatus is alarming,” AFL Director of Investigations Reed Rubinstein stated.
“It is a very long way from ‘see something, say something’ regarding an unattended suitcase at the airport to profiling patriotic and politically conservative Americans as abusive parents and domestic terrorists because they oppose abortion on demand and voted for former President Trump,” he stated. “The agency is out of control.”
Should we be surprised? Hugh Brown, the executive vice president of the American Life League is not.
“The president has been allowed his entire life to receive the Eucharist … he’s never been publicly addressed for his support of slaughtering children, for his support of Planned Parenthood, for his support of taxpayer-funded abortions,” Brown said.
“The Church has just allowed him to do whatever he wants without any word,” he continued.
Brown feels that it’s a natural progression that the Biden administration would target Christians and traditional family values because the president has “been allowed to stand against the Church” and “commit sacrilege every single time he presents himself for the Eucharist.”
“He could have been a saint” and used his position to stand against abortion, Brown said, but he chose otherwise.
Brown is puzzled how anyone is surprised that Biden turned on pro-life advocates given his support for the LGBT agenda, transgenderism, and abortion.
“The end game of all in this is making Christianity illegal,” Brown said, in reference to the Biden administration’s targeting of Christians and other social conservatives. “We have to have courage.”
