A based Southwest Airlines pilot on Friday ended his public announcement with the popular phrase “Let’s Go Brandon”
“We are heading east at about 107 or 108 mph. Clear visibility, mostly clear skies, about 77 degrees. Thanks for coming out, flying Southwest Airlines, welcome home and let’s go Brandon.” the pilot said, as seen in a tik-tok video clip.
The controversial phrase in question is also known as a PG version for the very popular “F**k Joe Biden” chants that are seen all across the country, especially at sports events.
The phrase has seen tremendous popularity online through independent rap songs that are outperforming major labels on iTunes and Apple Music. Despite major censorship on big-tech platforms.
For those still unfamiliar with the meme, it started after an NBC sports reporter tried to twist the crowd’s “F**k Joe Biden” chant during a NASCAR interview.
An AP reporter, Colleen Long, was on board this Houston-Albuquerque flight — and was “almost” removed from the plane after asking the crew to open the cockpit, so she could ask the pilot for comment, as per her Twitter account.
This incident has outraged many liberal media talking heads who once cheered for activists like Colin Kaepernick and other sports and Hollywood figures who voiced their unpopular anti-Trump and anti-America messages. The same media heads defended Kaepernick and his fellow activists for “voicing their beliefs at their workspace” are now looking to cancel the southwest pilot for expressing his descent against Joe Biden.
