Fox News host Dan Bongino has accused President Joe Biden of being complicit in the dramatic increase in fentanyl overdoses in the United States.
The former NYPD officer and Secret Service agent laid the blame for the sickening increases in fentanyl overdose deaths at the feet of the president, which he says have come as a result of Biden’s relaxed immigration and border enforcement policies.
“The border crisis is real, it’s not going away, and people are dying because of it,” Bongino said on his Sunday program.
He added that the “overdose death rate” has increased by “70 percent in just the last year” and that “fentanyl is now the leading cause of accidental overdose deaths in America.”
Bongino blamed Biden for the increase, saying that his administration’s policies have made it easier for fentanyl to pour into the country.
“This is all on Joe Biden,” he said. “He owns this crisis, he is responsible for it, and people are dying because of it.”

The Fox News host also slammed Biden for his “hypocrisy” on the issue of immigration, noting that the president has previously accused those who want to secure the border of being “racist.”
“Joe Biden has the gall, the temerity, to lecture us about compassion, when his own policies are leading to hundreds, if not thousands, of needless deaths,” Bongino said.
He concluded by calling on Biden to “wake up” and change his policies before more people die.
“Mr. President, wake up,” he said. “Your policies are killing people, and you are responsible for it. Change your policies before more innocent Americans lose their lives.”
China is the world’s leading source of fentanyl, a powerful and addictive prescription painkiller that has caused tens of thousands of overdose deaths in the United States in recent years.
And now, according to a new report from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Chinese government is doing little to stop the flow of fentanyl into the United States.
In fact, the Chinese government has actually been complicit in the trafficking of fentanyl into the United States, according to the report.
The report found that “the Chinese government has not taken sufficient action to address this problem,” and that “the ongoing production and trafficking of fentanyl and its precursors from China represents a significant threat to the United States.”
The report also found that the Chinese government “has not taken sufficient action” to crack down on the illegal manufacture and sale of fentanyl in China.
And it’s not just the Chinese government that’s to blame. The report also found that “the U.S. government has not taken sufficient action” to address the problem of fentanyl trafficking from China.
In particular, the report faulted the U.S. government for not working more closely with the Chinese government to crack down on fentanyl traffickers.
The report’s release comes as the U.S. government is facing increasing pressure to do more to combat the opioid crisis.
