Joe Biden received more bad news from a poll showing that most Americans think he should be impeached.
According to a new Rasmussen Reports survey, Republicans and Independents overwhelmingly agree that Biden should be impeached. A third of Democrats agree, as well.
52 percent of likely U.S. voters say they would support the impeachment of Biden, with 38 percent saying they would strongly support it.
The poll margin includes 77 percent of Republicans, 50 percent of Independents, and 32 percent of Democrats who would like to see Biden impeached.
47 percent believe it is likely the GOP will attempt to impeach the president, while 43 percent don’t see it happening in his first term.
“Support for impeaching Biden is highest among voters 40-64, who are also most likely to think that if Republicans win in the midterms, they actually will impeach the president. Retirees are least supportive of impeaching Biden,” the poll concluded.
Also, earlier this week, Representative Bob Good from Virginia, called for Biden to be impeached to help Americans feel safer.
“I have consistently said that President Biden should be impeached for opening our borders and making Americans less safe,” Good said.
“Congress has a duty to hold the President accountable for this and any other failures of his Constitutional responsibilities, so a new Republican majority must be prepared to aggressively conduct oversight on day one.”
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene also said that Biden should be impeached.
“She believes Joe Biden should have been impeached as soon as he was sworn in, so of course she wants it to happen as soon as possible,” Nick Dyer, a Greene spokesman, said Monday in an email.
Rep. Elise Stefanik said that Biden is “unfit to serve as president.”
A few months ago, Jon Voight called for Biden to be impeached in a video he shared.
“My dear friends, we’re all saddened by so much turmoil that has been brought upon this life we live,” Voight said. “Can this darkness be lifted? Can we all share joy once again and see eye to eye?
He accused Biden of taking “down our morals, our true gift of the land of the free.”
“He must be impeached,” he added. “Don’t let this President Biden tear down every inch that was sacrificed with blood, sweat and tears for his dictation of lies.”
“We have a troubled nation with much horror from these criminals that are ruining lives,” he continued, though he did not detail which offenders he was referring to. “We must stop this now. We must bring back our nation’s safety.”
Several resolutions have been filed for Biden to be impeached. If Republicans take back control of the House, the resolutions are expected to be used as grounds to remove Biden from the presidency.
