Tomi Lahren went on Fox News and criticized President Joe Biden for his new “strategy” of slandering and disrespecting Republican voters.
President Biden on Republicans: “What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of extreme MAGA philosophy. It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism.”
Lahren said that this strategy will not work for Biden, and he would be wise to learn from Hillary Clinton’s mistakes.
Clinton infamously called Trump supporters a “basket of deplorables,” and we all know how that turned out.
Lahren warned Biden that if he continues insulting and disrespecting Republican voters, he would only end up losing.
After Joe Biden referred to Trump supporters as “the dregs of society,” Tomi Lahren issued a warning to the former Vice President.
“This is certainly his ‘basket of deplorables’ moment,” Lahren said, referring to when Hillary Clinton made a similar comment about Trump supporters during the 2016 election. “And we saw how well that worked out for Hillary Clinton. But this is what they need to do. This is actually a strategy.”
Lahren went on to say that the left needs to “paint all Trump supporters with a broad brush” in order to make them seem like “racist, bigoted, sexist homophobes.”
“They need to do this because they know they can’t win on the issues,” Lahren said. “The American people are smarter than that.”
Lahren continued with her drag of the current President: “But it’s going to work against him because those ultra MAGAs, they’re pretty upset about the FBI raid.
“They’re pretty excited about Donald Trump 2024.
“And they’re pretty excited to go out and vote in November and show the country you can call us whatever you want – ultra MAGAs, rednecks, Republicans, it doesn’t matter – because we’re going to vote and we’re going to show you what it feels like when the ultra MAGAs come back and they’re coming back in force.
“I don’t think this is just them saying things that they feel in their heart of hearts, even though I’m sure he probably does. I think this is a strategy. He knows that his administration has been lackluster.
“He knows that nobody is excited to go out and vote for Democrats or vote for Joe Biden because quite frankly, who has excitement for that?”
She went on to say that Biden’s comments are a “slap in the face” to the majority of Americans who identify as Republicans.
“The reality is, most Americans do not want to be associated with extremism,” Lahren said. “They don’t want to be associated with fascism.”
Lahren concluded by saying that Biden’s comments are a sign of desperation and that he should be focusing on more important issues.
“The fact that Joe Biden is resorting to these kinds of name-calling attacks just shows how desperate he is,” Lahren said. “He should be focused on the issues that matter to the American people.”
So far, Biden’s comments have not seemed to phase Trump supporters, with many of them taking to social media to express their pride in being called “deplorables.”
It remains to be seen how this will affect Biden’s campaign in the long run, but it is clear that Lahren believes this is a misstep on his part.
