Tesla CEO Elon Musk swiped Joe Biden’s failed migration policy that allowed the entry of 7 million illegal aliens into the country for the past three years.
“I am very much in favor of legal immigration, being an immigrant myself, but allowing a flood of millions of unvetted people to enter the United States illegally is insane,” Musk wrote on X.
He also emphasized that the total number of illegal immigrants who entered the country has already exceeded the population of 36 American states.
The billionaire earlier countered the notion that he was anti-immigrant, saying that “as an immigrant myself, nothing could be further from the truth.”
He further remarked that he is “very much in favor of increased and expedited legal immigration for anyone who is talented, hard-working, and honest.”
However, he lamented that immigrating to the United States is “bizarrely difficult and agonizingly slow,” but how “trivial and fast it is to enter illegally.”
The tech mogul also bemoaned the benefits and services given to illegal aliens while none were given to taxpayers.
A few other things you probably don’t know: illegals in America can get bank loans, mortgages, insurance, driver’s licenses, free healthcare (California & New York), and in-state college tuition,” Musk wrote.
“What’s the point of being a citizen if an illegal gets all the benefits, but doesn’t pay taxes or do jury duty?”
A recent article in Newsweek exposed that a family of migrants in New York City receives more money than the compensation a veteran receives.
A military veteran who has a 50 percent disability rating with a spouse and child receives a monthly stipend of $1,255.16, while migrant families receive $1,400 a month.
Meanwhile, in Boston, a veterans home is now at risk of being turned into a shelter for hundreds of migrants.
Chelsea Soldiers’ Home was reported to be demolished to pave the way for the housing of 100 migrant families and pregnant women.
The community was repulsed by the idea.
“I can’t believe the Chelsea Soldiers’ Home, which is for the vets, is going to [be] used for the immigrants’ overflow,” George Belmonte, a Massachusetts resident, said on Facebook.
“How about taking care of the homeless vets first?” he probed.
Another Boston resident also questioned why migrants will be housed in the facility for free while veterans who defended the country “are paying to live there.”
According to US Housing and Urban Development data, at least 545 veterans experienced homelessness on a single night in 2023.
