Mike Lee has joined his fellow senator from Kentucky Rand Paul in demanding that future aid to Ukraine is stopped until both parties come to a diplomatic conclusion to end the war. He would also be joined by Marjorie Taylor Greene, Eli Crane, Matt Rosendale and even former President Donald Trump whop said recently in an interview that he would not support sending future money to Ukraine and that he supports a diplomatic end to the Russia/ Ukraine war. Donald Trump has also stated that he would end the Russia/ Ukraine war in under 24 hours.
Mike Lee would also lay out in a tweet stating that we have already sent $113 billion to Ukraine an enormous sum. He would also say that we are about to be asked for even more money. This is coming through the pockets of American tax-payers which he has frustrated many Republican voters as they believe they shouldn’t have their hard earned money sent to a foreign country to fight there own war.

Mike Lee would also follow up with another tweet saying Putin is bad, but this is not our war.

Several republicans in the house like Marjorie Taylor Greene have been saying in recent months that we need to audit Ukraine and or stop money from being sent to Ukraine. However, Mike Lee and Rand Paul are the first senators to come out and be against future aid to Ukraine. Now, it seems many other Republicans are following suit on this issue, Donald Trump has called on Republicans to halt aid to Ukraine but this issue seems to be a driving issue even within the party because it seems some Republicans support more aid to Ukraine and some support less. Lindsey Graham a senator from South Carolina has been the biggest supporter of more aid to Ukraine, which many Republicans have spoken out against his position on this issue including Marjorie Taylor Greene.
