As more Republicans join the 2024 presidential race, the Democrat operatives in the media become more and more unhinged.

Just when you think they might run out of insults, Nikki Haley’s age becomes the target of their criticism.

Nikki Haley is only a week into her run for the GOP ticket in the 2024 race and it looks like the fact that she is 51 years old is what the Left is going to make an issue.

Just for context, Hilary Clinton was 60 when she ran in the Democrat primary leading up to the 2008 election and 69 when she lost to Trump in 2016.

In one of her initial political ads, Haley says, the “Washington establishment has failed us over and over and over again. It’s time for a new generation of leadership.”

They played a clip of Haley’s ad on ABC’s “The View” and it received quite a reaction from co-host Whoopi Goldberg.

She snapped, saying, “You’re not a new generation, you’re 51. What are you talking about?”

At this point, it’s comical.

Conservatives have come to expect all kinds of rhetoric coming from the Left but this one didn’t seem like it would go past the moronic statement Don Lemon made on his CNN morning show last week.

Lemon told his two female cohosts that Haley “isn’t in her prime. A woman is considered to be in her prime in her 20s and 30s and maybe 40s.”

Is she planning on having a baby or running for president? Lemon might be confused.

While the women at CNN didn’t give Lemon much pushback, Goldberg’s co-host, Alyssa Farah Griffin, noted, “Compared to DC, though, that’s a new generation. Congress is old.”

Goldberg was sticking by her statement, adding, “It’s not a new generation. She may be younger than most of those people, but her rhetoric is the same. She’s saying the same BS.”

Nikki Haley joined Martha MacCallum on her Fox News show, “The Story with Martha MacCallum.”

When asked about Goldberg’s statement, Haley said, “It’s not new. This happened when I ran for governor. I’ve had this all my life.

“When I was first elected governor, there were some minority Democrats that said ‘she’s not a minority, she’s just a conservative with a tan.’ They will come at me with everything. But none of that fazes me.

“If my age is all they have, it means we’re winning,” she said. “I’m okay with that.”

Haley pointed out the hypocrisy coming from the mainstream media. They applauded Kamala Harris for being a woman of color but accuse Haley of using her “brown skin to score political points.”

“The problem is, it’s just the hypocrisy of all of it. If Republicans said this about a Democrat candidate, they would have lost their minds,” Haley said.

“Everybody would have been asking for everybody to be fired. It would have been all of this. So … this is one more example of how hypocritical the liberals are. They’re very quick to judge. They’re very quick to throw stones. But when it comes back at them, they act like we’re the ones that are bad. I think they’re really showing themselves for what they are.”

She is exactly right. If roles were reversed, both Lemon’s and Goldberg’s jobs would be on the chopping block.
