President Trump announced his first book this week since leaving the White House. The book titled, Our Journey Together broke all major political book records on the day of its launch with pre-order sales grossing more than $1 million in sales within the first 24 hours. Over 9,000 hardcover copies have been pre-ordered within 24 hours.
Despite several publishers’ attempts to block President Trump and members and supporters of his administration from publishing books, the pre-launch announcement is massively successful.
“We have seen such an incredible response to President Donald Trump’s newest book,” Winning Team Publishing President Serigio Gor told the Washington Examiner. “Selling a million dollars worth of books in 24 hours is just extraordinary.” He added.
Gor and Donal Trump Jr. founded the Winning Team Publishing earlier this year after dealing with cancellations from liberal publications. They noted that the recent success of President Trump’s book has occurred without any advertising and marketing campaigns. They are set to begin promotion and advertisement at a further date.
“Our Journey Together features unforgettable moments from our time in Washington: building the southern border wall, cutting America’s taxes, confirming almost 300 federal judges and three Supreme Court justices, rebuilding our military, creating Space Force, dealing with Kim Jong-Un, President Xi, President Putin, and many other world leaders, and battling liberals on two impeachment witch hunts, just to name a few. These proud accomplishments stand in stark contrast to the destruction of our country taking place right now,” President Trump told Washington Examiner and Washington Secrets Columnist Paul Bedard.
The book is set to be released on December 7th. Despite its high price, its sales are breaking record numbers. A standard copy is being sold for $74.99 and a signed copy is for $229.99.
