Newly-released photos shared during the ongoing sex trafficking trial of British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell show her and convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein cozying up in what appears to be the Queen’s log cabin in Glen Beg on the Balmoral estate.
Prosecutors showed the jury a number of photos which they said prove the pair’s intimate relationship, including one at the Queen’s cabin where they were allegedly hosted by Prince Andrew.
The photos were recovered in a 2019 FBI raid at Epstein’s Upper East Side mansion, FBI analyst Kimberly Media testified. Some of the photos showed Maxwell giving Epstein a foot massage on one of his private jets with ample cleavage showing, even flashing Epstein in one shot. Other photos show the two embracing in various locations across the globe.
Prosecutors have attempted to depict Maxwell and Epstein as “partners in crime,” throughout their time together. Two alleged victims in Maxwell’s trial have testified that she herself took part in the abuse in some cases, and in cases where she didn’t participate directly, she still had a hand in it.
Prosecutors have sought to prove beyond any reasonable doubt to the jury of 12 that there should be no confusion about whether Maxwell, the one-time girlfriend of convicted paedophile Epstein, was his puppet or accomplice.
