Elon Musk is in the news again, surprising quite literally nobody. He certainly is now stranger to the spotlight. There is, of course, his dramatic back and forth with Twitter concerning the possible purchase of the corporate giant.

There is also often a defensive aspect at play. Like when he had to fend of the ridiculous hit piece from the New York Times that accused him of sleeping with the the ex-wife of Google’s co-founder. The media can’t seem to get quite enough of the famous owner of Tesla. Now, Mr. Musk is weighing in on the Britney Griner situation.

The billionaire just called out Biden over the possibility of embattled WNBA player Griner’s possible trade for a Russian war criminal.

Now, according to magaconservatives:

Many have questioned Biden’s potential trade even as Putin adds names to the list. Biden is in a tight spot because Putin knows Joe needs to bring home Griner home or face a revolt from the left.

But the cost may be high for Joe who is running dangerously low on political capital. Musk responded to a Twitter post showing the picture of an unhappy man with the caption:

“People in the US in jail for weed while the government trades a Russian war criminal to free a woman’s basketball player in jail for weed.”

Musk said:

“Maybe free some people in jail for weed here too?”

The article went on to report that:

Former President Donald Trump said WNBA star Brittney Griner was “spoiled” and that Biden was making a bad trade.

Speaking on Saturday on The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show, Trump said “it certainly doesn’t seem like a very good trade, does it?” before saying she admitted carrying drugs in Russia, “she admitted it.”

The former President added, “She knew you don’t go in there loaded up with drugs, and she admitted it. I assume she admitted it without too much force because it is what it is, and it certainly doesn’t seem like a very good trade, does it?

“He’s absolutely one of the worst in the world, and he’s gonna be given his freedom because a potentially spoiled person goes into Russia loaded up with drugs.

“She went in there loaded up with drugs into a hostile territory where they’re very vigilant about drugs.

“They don’t like drugs.

“And she got caught.

“And now we’re supposed to get her out — and she makes, you know, a lot of money, I guess.

“We’re supposed to get her out for an absolute killer and one of the biggest arms dealers in the world.

“Killed many Americans. Killed many people,” Trump said.

Mike Pompeo said: “He’s a bad guy. He is a guy who wanted to kill Americans.

“It presents a real risk to the United States.

“There’s a real reason the Russians want to get him home.

“To offer a trade like this is a dangerous precedent.

“This is not a good trade, not the right path forward, and it’ll likely lead to more,” he said.

Does Elon Musk want the spotlight? Or perhaps is it the other way around? This writer is tempted to believe the latter. The media doesn’t quite seem to want to leave him alone.

In this instance, he invites the attention, but he is calling out an issue of concern for many Americans. Musk has, for one reason for another, set himself up as a sort of bulwark against what many perceive to be the elite ruling class.

This was demonstrated most saliently when when went after Twitter. Please be sure to follow The Raging Patriot for more on these stories as they develop.
