Two years into the Covid-19 pandemic, there are still so many unknown factors with the virus. Where did it come from? Well, actually everyone knows it came from a lab in China. Do the vaccines work? Well, everyone now knows that vaccines don’t prevent infection.
Do masks help prevent the spread of the vaccine? Well, studies have shown they did very little except hinder the development of children. Let me change my opening. Two years later, we know a lot about the Covid-19 virus but it wasn’t what CDC and Health Officials made us believe.
It has been a state of mass confusion throughout the last two years. You can argue government actions were on purpose or you can argue they were out of caution. Whichever side you fall on, the one constant from the very beginning of the virus was the young and healthy weren’t at risk.
Our young men and women who serve in the United States military fit that description of young and healthy. So, why is the Biden Administration forcing Covid-19 vaccines on these young men and women?
Our nation is facing a recruitment shortage for the military. It is at historic lows for several reasons. One is obesity, our population is considered “fatter” than ever before. Any previous drug use automatically disqualifies a person and any criminal background crosses someone off the list.
NBC News reports that only 23% of 18-24 year-olds are eligible to join the military. Of that 23%, only 9% are interested in a career in the military. Add those statistics with the Secretary of State’s decision to impose a vaccine mandate in August of 2021, and you have a recipe for disaster.
Ironically, the usually anti-military elites of Hollywood may be the best recruiting tool the military has right now. The non-woke and pro-American Top Gun sequel has been a smash hit worldwide and has increased military applicants over the last several weeks.
The original Top Gun did the same thing in the mid-eighties. The movie helped the military substantially increase its recruitment numbers all those years ago. However, times are different and the Commander-in-Chief was different. There were also no vaccine mandates.
The vaccine mandate went into effect in August of 2021. Since then, thousands of men and women have been discharged from all the branches of the military. They have barred about 60,000 soldiers in the National Guard and Army Reservists from being deployed. If they are not fully vaccinated, they are relieved of duty.
Governor DeSantis of Florida is speaking out against the discharge of these troops and hopes Biden’s positive Covid-19 tests this past week will open his eyes to the virus and the military. These men and women are healthy. Why should they be forced to take a vaccine they don’t need?
When it comes to the National Guard, there is hope the Governors of each state will step in and end the dismissal. National Guard troops are under the control of the individual Governors but the funding comes from the Federal government which can be withheld.
The world is in a state of chaos right now. The global economy is crashing, war is raging in Eastern Europe, and China is threatening to act against Taiwan. Our government should be doing everything in its power to strengthen our forces but it seems they are doing everything to weaken it.
Why is the government doing that? Why is the government discharging perfectly healthy young men and women based on a vaccine?
