Rep. Cory Mills joins top House Republicans in calling for Joe Biden to take a cognitive test amid the ongoing controversy of his deteriorating mental condition.
Mills wrote on X: “President Biden’s cognitive decline can’t be brushed aside any longer. The damning DoJ report described President Biden’s memory as “hazy” and “poor”, which raises serious national security concerns.”
Representative Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) reiterated once more his appeal to President Biden to take a cognitive test to prove his mental acuity to serve as U.S. president.
Rep. Jackson served as White House physician and medical adviser for President Trump. Together with 83 House Republicans, they called on the president to respond to their request to prove his mental and physical fitness.
In a letter to Biden, the GOP lawmakers said, “The President of the United States must demonstrate sound mental abilities, regardless of gender, age, or political party, which you have not.”
Congressman Byron Donalds emphasized that “this is the reality” and that the people deserve to know if “he has the mental capabilities to serve as president.”
The Florida lawmaker warned that if the White House failed to provide a cognitive test result on Biden, “it is incumbent upon the cabinet to invoke the 25th Ammendment.”
On Thursday, Special Counsel Robert Hur published a 345-page report on Biden’s mishandling of classified documents, which he stored at Penn Biden Center, his garage in Delaware, his house in Virginia, and his lawyer’s office in Boston.
However, special counsel Hur remarked that he will not bring charges against Biden because he is a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
This report has led the public to criticize Biden, who now doubts his capability to lead the nation for the next four years.
Biden responded to Hur’s report: “I’m well-meaning, and I’m an elderly man. And I know what the hell I’m doing.”
For Mills, “The American people deserve full transparency about the President’s mental state.”
“If he is mentally competent then the DOJ should be indicted for the mishandling of classified documents. If he’s not competent then he should be removed.”
Nicholas Pagnotta, co-founder of the Raging Patriot, echoed Mills and said “It’s so obvious that Biden is mentally gone, and that says a lot for someone who was never considered a smart person. The American people deserve to know the mental ability of our “leader”. Imagine if this was Donald Trump, the press would be demanding a cognitive test 24/7.”
Even health professionals also supported this call for Biden to take a mental competency test as they raised concerns on the report made by special counsel Hur.
More than 100 doctors think, “something isn’t right” with Biden when he can’t recall basic facts about his life and career.
One internal medicine expert argued, “The horse is out of the barn. Not only does [Biden] have an infirmity of some degree, but he has delayed producing objective evidence.”
He added, “no one is buying” Biden’s defenses about his memory anymore.
Meanwhile, recent polls revealed that more than 54 percent of Americans think Joe Biden is no longer fit to perform the duties as president.
Concerns about his health and mental acuity also rose to 64 percent, saying they are somewhat or very concerned about the issue.
The poll also revealed that the majority of Americans are more aware of his gaffes and physical slips than any of his legislative victories.
