Fox News host Tucker Carlson gets asked if he would ever run for president.

On Friday, during a discussion at the Family Leadership Summit in Des Moines Iowa, he was asked again if he would consider running for president.

“When you come back to next year’s summit, will you be the Fox News TV host interviewing potential presidential hopefuls, or will you be a presidential hopeful?” the person interviewing him said.

“God knows what the future holds,” the Fox News host said.

“The people I’m maddest at in the world are the people who don’t do their duty and leave the vulnerable exposed,” the host said.

“It’s the dad who leaves his kids — that’s a guy, I’d just like to punch him in the face. I mean it because that’s your duty. Those are your children, and you left. You don’t care about them,” he said.

“That’s the most basic violation there is. It’s not what the enemy does to you; it’s what people charged with ensuring your welfare do to you,” he said.

He suggested that those were some of the reasons “that Republican voters chose Trump.”

“The average Republican voter is not represented in a meaningful way by his or her leaders in Washington, and I cannot stress that enough,” he said.

“I have every intention of staying in the job that I’m blessed to have, but I’m going to keep hammering that, not because I want to weaken the Republican Party, no, because the Republican Party is our only option. That’s it,” the host said.

“We need immediate attention and help. This is an SOS moment,” he said.

The Raging Patriot previously reported on Tucker Carlson and Fox News crushing cable ratings:

“Tucker Carlson Tonight,” “Jesse Watters Primetime,” “Special Report with Bret Baier” and “The Ingraham Angle” joined “The Five” among the five most popular shows.

“Tucker” averaged 505,000 viewers among the advertiser-coveted demographic to win the critical rating category.

“FOX & Friends” continued its dominant streak, averaging 1.2 million viewers as the top morning show competition on CNN and MSNBC for the 68th straight week.

CNN’s “New Day” averaged a dismal 385,000 viewers and MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” settled for an average audience of 832,000.

Many people are hoping former President Trump will run again in 2024.

Fox News reported:

Former President Donald Trump has hinted for some time that he may announce a third bid for the White House, and some Republicans, including those that have expressed opposition to another run from Trump, suggest that announcement could come sooner rather than later as GOP voters weigh their best option for a 2024 candidate.

While most candidates announce a run for the presidency around one year prior to the election, several Republican strategists, according to reports from The New York Times and The Associated Press, suggest that Trump is eager to announce his candidacy even though many Republicans feel at odds with the idea.

Scott Jennings, a Republican strategist, said that he believes Trump’s announcement could come before more Republican voters begin to consider other candidates.
