California Judge Hit Hunter’s Lawyers, Threatens Sanctions for Lying in Court

It seems lying is the Democrats’ knee-jerk reaction when the situation gets high. These liberal morons have lied about anything, even the most obvious facts, such as crooked Joe’s mental acuity.

Certainly, the fruit does not fall far from the tree as crackhead Hunter Biden, who was recently found guilty on gun charges, and his lawyers face possible sanctions for lying in court documents.

Hunter’s legal team is trying to use Judge Aileen Canon’s explosive dismissal of Jack Smith’s case against Trump to get his case tossed.

According to Judge Mark Scarsi, Biden’s attorney insistently claimed that Special Counsel David Weiss did not mount his case against the crackhead son of Joe Biden until after he became a special prosecutor.

Scarsi said Biden’s lawyer knew he was making false statements.

“These statements, however, are not true, and Mr. Biden’s counsel knows they are not true,” Scarsi wrote.

On the contrary, the California federal judge asserted that there is a distinction between Smith and Weiss.

Scarsi clarified that Smith’s appointment by Attorney General Merrick Garland was unconstitutional, while Weiss waited for Senate approval before acquiring the special counsel status.

The judge furthered that Weiss had not yet been appointed as special counsel when he slapped Hunter with misdemeanor tax offenses, which was agreed upon in their foiled plea deal last year.

“But Mr. Biden’s motion does not engage with this distinction; instead, counsel avoids the issue by misrepresenting the history of the proceedings,” Scarsi wrote. “This court has little tolerance for lack of candor from counsel.”

After Judge Canon decided on Jack Smith’s sham charges against Trump, Biden’s lawyers, Abbe Lowell and Bartholomew Dalton, quickly took this precedent to demand that Hunter’s tax evasion charges face the same scrutiny.

Scarsi warned that the first son could face monetary sanctions if they failed to respond in a “timely and satisfactory” way to his motion. The judge allowed Hunter’s legal team to edit or fix the motion papers that contained false claims.

Meanwhile, another Hunter’s attorney, Mark Geragos, asserted that they had not made any false claims and insisted that Weiss, a Delaware US attorney, had no right to file tax charges in California until after he was named special counsel.

Jurors in Delaware agreed that Hunter was guilty of lying about his drug addiction in 2018 when he purchased a firearm and kept it for 11 days.

Before this, Hunter argued that the charges against him should be tossed as he was a victim of a “witch hunt.” None of it worked so far.
