President Donald Trump gains additional significant backing as Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women For America, personally endorsed the GOP leader.
Nance expressed her support in a video standing in front of the Supreme Court touting the court’s reversal of the Roe v. Wade decision, in which Trump played a key role.
“I have been a pro-life advocate for almost my entire life. I’ll never forget the day that I stood with Donald Trump with hundreds of thousands of pro-life Americans to celebrate the March for Life,” says Nance.
“And of course, we will never forget that President Trump gave us over 270 constitutionalist judges and three Supreme Court justices, which is why I am standing here today in front of the Supreme Court to recognize that 18 months ago the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.”
Trump is the first among presidential candidates who signed CWA’s pledge defining women and recognizing that sex is binary.
Nance acknowledged Trump and said, “It means a lot to me that President Trump immediately was spot on and understood the question and the time of the day.”
In June, the CWA president met with Trump. They discussed the need to protect women athletes forced to compete trans-women in sporting events. Nance also brings up concerns of parents who are “fighting to protect” their children from school officials working to sexualize and indoctrinate young minds without notification or consent.
The CWA has long been critical of transgender participation in female sports. In 2021, Nance slammed the NCAA Board of Governors for allowing non-biological female, transathletes to compete against biological women in collegiate sports.
She expressed, “The Board of Governors clearly has no regard for real fairness for female student-athletes, only woke politics. Further, this statement shows that the activism of the left leaves no middle ground. Young women deserve better than this.”
MAGA War Room posted Nance’s video on X where she praised the former president for his pro-life stance.
“Without question, Donald Trump is the most pro-life President in American history,” Nance said.
In an op-ed column for The Hill, Nance also slammed the Biden administration for allowing the use of taxpayers’ funds for abortion, including travel reimbursement.
Trump, in September, attended CWA’s leadership summit where he challenged attendees and organizers to “be able to speak and explain it [abortion] properly.”
Reflecting on Trump’s speech, Nance said “Donald Trump didn’t just deliver, he exceeded expectations, and he taught us not to accept less than what we’ve been promised.”
