President Joe Biden surprised a crowd in Las Vegas during the weekend as he retold his experience speaking with French President Francois Mitterrand in 2021.
The president vividly recounted: “I sat down and I said, ‘America’s back,’” Biden recalled. “And Mitterrand from Germany – I mean from France – looked at me and said…”
He paused for a while and said, “Well, how long are you back for?”
Unfortunately, Mitterrand, who was France’s president between 1981 and 1995, has long been dead since 1996.
The president continued a “Chancellor of Germany”, and probed him how he would “respond” if, hypothetically, thousands of people stormed Britain’s House of Commons and killed two “bobbies,” or British police, to block the Prime Minister from being elected.
A senile Biden also threw tirades against Trump and the January 6 demonstrators and berated the GOP leader for calling the J6 protestors Patriots.
In addition to speaking with the dead, Biden seemed to forget that the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister is not “elected.” And the London Times he referred to is not a real newspaper.
Biden committed the same blunder in 2022, he confused the decades-long dead Mitterrand with Emmanuel Macron, the current president of France.
Mitterand must be turning in his grave.
His recent gaffe also received mockery on X, formerly Twitter.
Graham Allen said, “This is not a healthy sign.”
“Joe Biden apparently can talk to dead people,” quips the Raging Patriot’s Nicholas Pagnotta.
One X user exclaimed: “He also met Santa Claus during Christmas!”
Early last week, Biden referred to his arch-enemy Donald Trump as the “sitting president.”
As the campaign season commences, many observers questioned Biden’s physical and mental condition. If elected, at 81 years- old, he will be the oldest person elected as President. His mental fitness has long been sparking controversy.
In January, while visiting Mother Emanuel Ame Church in South Carolina, the President alleged that he led a civil rights movement in his hometown in Delaware. He also claims that his “political identity” was shaped in the black church (not a joke).
“I’d go to 8 o’clock Mass, then I’d go to Reverend Herring’s church where we’d meet in order to organize and figure where we were going to go, whether we were going to desegregate the Rialto movie theater or what we were going to do,” he went on.

With barely nine months till the general elections, Biden’s polling remains at its lowest. According to a recent poll by Bloomberg News-Morning Consult released last January 31, Trump secured 48 percent of support among battleground state voters, while Biden only had 42 percent.
