Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) seems to burn bridges with his party for their denial of the ongoing migrant crisis at the southern border.

In an interview with several journalists, Fetterman slammed the Democratic Party for being in complete denial over President Joe Biden’s open-border policies, that has resulted in chaos all over the United States.

The Pennsylvanian senator pressed that “There’s a crisis at the border.”

“And I don’t know how anybody could pretend that there isn’t.”

Over the past few weeks, Fetterman had repeatedly slammed liberals over their handling of the migrant crisis.

During an interview with NBC News, the senator shared that “I’m not a progressive.”

He added, “I just think I’m a Democrat that is very committed to choice and other things. But with Israel, I’m going to be on the right side of that. And immigration is something near and dear to me, and I think we do have to effectively address it as well.”

In early December last year, the senator also told Politico, “I hope Democrats can understand that it isn’t xenophobic to be concerned about the border.”

“It’s a reasonable conversation, and Democrats should engage.”

Fetterman highlighted the data in September where border encounters almost reached 270,000.

He said, “You essentially have Pittsburgh showing up there at the border.”

“I haven’t met anyone that can have a really crisp, cogent solution or easy solution on, ‘Well, what do you do when you have roughly a city similar in size of Pittsburgh coming up to the border?’” he said, according to Politico.

The southern border faced the highest-ever recorded border crossing in December. The Customs and Border Protection was able to record 276,000 last month, which broke November’s 250,000 border crossing record.

In a survey by the Pew Research Center, less than 32 percent of US adults are confident in Biden’s capacity to make “wise” decisions about immigration.

Shelter states for migrants also faced tremendous budget cuts as they struggled to handle the surge of “asylum seekers.”

The politician also had a very strong opinion on the Israel-Gaza war.

Fetterman also expressed firm support for Israel for Hamas’ unprovoked terrorist siege in Gaza.

“Let’s not forget what Hamas started. They broke the first cease-fire, and then they attacked Israel and murdered over 1,200 innocent women, children, babies, everything, and brutalized it in the most unspeakable kinds of ways.”

He concluded, ” But, I do fundamentally believe that Israel must destroy Hamas to achieve conditions that allow for peace to prosper.”
