Donald Trump was previously on quite a hot streak. He has enjoyed a number of his endorsed candidates seeing successful campaigns. He recently endorsed Kari Lake for Arizona’s gubernatorial primary.
Additionally, in Missouri, there are actually three candidates are eager to get the much venerated Trump endorsement. These are the state’s attorney general, Eric Schmitt and former Governor Eric Greitens.
So, there is much love for Trump across the political landscape. However, in wake of the recent FBI seige of Trump’s Mar-A-Lago resort, there have recently been some developments.
It is now being reported by The First Light Report:
Democratic legal operative, Marc Elias, whose former firm was involved in the infamous Steele dossier, took to twitter on Monday evening and let the cat out of the bag on the true motivation behind the F.B.I. raid on Trump’s Mar-A-Lago property.
Ellis tweeted, “The media is missing the really, really big reason why the raid today is a potential blockbuster in American politics.”
It was further reported that:
The Washington goal to block Donald Trump from running for president in 2024 is more than a whisper.
Elias’ tweet could not be more transparent, but is not the full historical picture.
However, he studiously negates to mention that his former clients, Bill and Hilary Clinton, removed nearly $28,000 worth of possessions when they left the White House in January 2001.
At that time, there were debates about those possessions and a request to return them.
There were disagreements, but there was no raid.
In the 1990s, the late Sandy Berger was President Clinton’s National Security Adviser. He looked through documents in a classified setting, removed some documents, and put them in his socks.
Berger illegitimately took classified documents from the National Archives on more than one occasion. During his visits to the Archives, it was determined that Berger folded the documents in his clothes, walked out of the National Archives building in Washington, D.C., and placed them under a close construction trailer for retrieval later on, according to the National Archive’s website.
Two years later Berger sentence was 100 hours of community service and probation and fined $50,000. He also had to pay $6,905 for the administrative costs of his two-year probation. Berger also lost his security clearance and license to practice law.
So, it seems that Donald Trump might be in for a rude awakening regarding his 2024 prospects, as well as, perhaps, his freedom. Various Conservatives have weighed in on the raid. In fact, various pundits on Fox have collectively referred to the raid as a “collective coup”.
In fact, representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Paul Gosar have all called for the FBI to be either defunded or, indeed, destroyed. Elsewhere, JD Vance, who was Trump’s pick for Senate in Ohio, voiced his thoughts: “This is NOT a DRILL. Joe Biden is ATTACKING President Trump for STANDING UP for US, It’s time we show we have President Trump’s back! Act here.” Follow The Raging Patriot for more on this story as it develops!
