Earlier this week, the renowned White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean Pierre, declared migrants aren’t walking across the border illegally. Despite hundreds of videos showing thousands upon thousands of immigrants coming across the southern border, Pierre denies it.
It has become a simple political tactic on behalf of the Biden Administration over the last two years. Simply lie. Deny the border is open. There is no border crisis. Republicans are the greatest threat to the principles of American Democracy and Joe Biden is not a decrepit old man.
Lie, Lie, and lie some more until the people start to believe it, especially, if you have the mainstream media backing your every move. Why doesn’t Texas Governor Greg Abbott take a page from the Biden playbook and simply deny that Texas is sending buses of immigrants to other cities?
The media wouldn’t let him lie about that. They’d have camera crews showing Abbot opening bus doors for the migrants. Maybe they’d have to cover the humanitarian crisis on the southern border created by the Biden Administration’s request for votes.
Governors of the border states decided they had enough of Joe Biden destroying their States. They are fighting back. Several weeks ago, they decided to start sending busloads of illegal migrants from Texas to New York, Washington D.C., and now Chicago.
The first busload reached the Windy City on Wednesday night. Abbot has made it clear, “To continue providing much-needed relief to our small, overrun border towns, Chicago will join fellow sanctuary cities Washington, D.C. and New York City as an additional drop-off location.”
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, the harbinger of Chicago’s destruction, has gone to the Democrats’ typical political and social tactic. Blame everything on race and city back and let the media run with racism. The embattled Mayor has done just that in a speech this week.
“Gov. Abbott’s racist and xenophobic practices of expulsion have only amplified the challenges many of these migrants have experienced on their journey to find a safe place. The governor’s actions are not just inhumane, they are unpatriotic.”
Renea Eze, Abbott’s press secretary, fired back soon after Lightfoot’s comments on Thursday. “Mayor Lightfoot knows nothing about Texas’ busing strategy and needs to stop with the baseless lies and fearmongering,” Eze said in an interview with Fox News.
Once all the immigrants have been processed and released by the Federal Government, they are approached by Texas officials and asked if they want to go somewhere else in the United States. There isn’t a single person forced to get on a bus.

There have been claims of migrants getting off the buses during the trip. Senator Marsha Blackburn told “Fox & Friends” that, in some cases, migrants are “threatening” the bus drivers, demanding that they be allowed to disembark so they can travel to sanctuary cities across America.
Greg Abbott has invited the mayors of those cities to visit the border and witness the crisis firsthand, but they have angrily rebuffed his offer and asked Biden to assist with the hundreds of migrants arriving weekly.
The Biden Administration can’t step in because in doing so, they would have to admit there is a problem in the first place. We know Karine Jean Pierre has already told everyone there is no border crisis and nobody is walking across the border every day.
Mayor Lightfoot will continue attacking Abbot for his racist actions in hopes of deflecting from the fact that her city has become a war zone. Her record as Mayor is a terrible one and it seems very unlikely the people of Chicago will re-elect her. Maybe she should look for the new migrants to vote for her.
