When it comes to being a hypocrite, nobody can match the Democrat Party in their ability to contradict themselves on nearly any issue, this is especially true when it comes to their false claims regarding the Second Amendment.
It has become no secret that Democrat politicians would love nothing more than to strip law-abiding American citizens of their right to bear arms, however, in order to accomplish this, they do everything in their power to instill fear into those who are less educated about firearms and gun safety.
This is especially true when it comes to their relentless attacks on their bullshit termed “assault rifles”, the AR-15 being the most attacked.
Contrary to what Democrats would have you believe, the “AR” in ‘AR-15’ does not stand for assault rifle, rather, it stands for ArmaLite rifle, named after the company that first developed it. Democrats have routinely played on the abbreviations to trick those who are less familiar with its terminology.
On the top of the list of Democrats who lecture us on “assault rifles”, “weapons of war” and “weapons of mass destruction” is California Governor Gavin Newsom, who is himself just contradicted his entire rant on why we shouldn’t have these so-called “assault rifles” by carelessly pointing the rifle at his cameraman.
Anyone who has the most basic understanding of gun safety knows that you always treat a firearm as if it is loaded, never put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to shoot, and don’t point the firearm at anything you aren’t willing to kill/shoot. However, like all clueless anti-gun Democrats, Newsom didn’t follow these basic steps of gun safety, all while telling us how dangerous guns are.
Radio host Dana Loesch said, “I’ve never seen anyone so awkwardly hold a sporting rifle in my life (it’s not a weapon of war and is responsible for the least fatalities, under blunt objects even) and then you flagged your d*** cameraman,“.
Emily Zanotti also said “Dude, did you just point that right at a cameraman“.
@NuanceBro on Twitter tweeted “Kids can’t buy guns legally dude. If parents want to buy guns for their kids and teach them how to shoot responsibly that’s fine. California Dems just want to stop the new generation from being exposed to gun culture because they know it will hurt their gun control agenda,”.

Young Americans for Liberty tweeted “Dear @GavinNewsom, This is a .22-caliber rifle. It is not a ‘weapon of war’ — for good reason. Lastly, please if you’re going to handle a firearm, treat it as if it is loaded and don’t point the barrel at your camera crew. Thanks,”.
Larry Taunton also tweeted “Gavin ‘Alec Baldwin’ Newsom points this rifle at his cameraman. This much is clear about so-called #guncontrol: Democrats should not own guns as they don’t know how to use them.”
