When Republicans mention failed Democrat policies as the leading cause of homeless throughout America it is always confusing. Yes, the policies cause drug-addicted homeless to wander the streets. However, the policies that cause it are successful policies.
Rent Control, green energy regulations, taxes, and sanctuary city status are the policies of the Democrat party. They are the base platform of the liberal progressives, and they all contribute to the homelessness that dominates every Democrat-run state in the nation.
California has the highest concentration of homelessness and welfare of any state in the country. Democrats are in control of every political office as well as every city office in the Golden State. Republicans are ignored as Democrats force policies that create more poverty and homelessness.
If these policies destroy people and their communities, why would Democrats adhere to them as they do? These deliberate actions secure people’s votes that’s why. They lend credence to mail-in voting, and they secure votes because the homeless depend on government assistance.
San Francisco is feeling the pressure from the rising homelessness destroying the once beautiful city. The city is known for the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and being a political stronghold of the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
The residents of the city are not pleased with their one-party system. They may be realizing their masters need to be voted out. The Castro Merchants Association sent a letter to San Francisco city officials telling them they plan to stop paying taxes.
The business owners in San Francisco want more done to address burglaries, vandalism, people with behavioral health problems, and the homeless camping wherever they want. It seems the residents of the city may finally be waking up.
In response to the public’s demands, the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing will be opening 1,000 shelter beds over the next three months will give people in the Castro and other neighborhoods a place to stay inside.
It is not going to impact daily life right away and it may just be window dressing on behalf of the Golden State’s Democrats. However, it is at least a step in the right direction and may be a sign that things could be changing.
They recently recalled District Attorney Chesa Boudin. The former public defender and criminal justice reform advocate won the top prosecutor job in November 2019 after campaigning to tackle mass incarceration and police misconduct.
Boudin is the son of two radical members of the Domestic terrorist group the weather underground. Both were imprisoned for murdering an armored car guard. After he was born he was adopted by Bill Ayers, the extreme radical friend of Barack Obama.
Yes, Boudin was elected in the first place and you can argue the people of San Francisco got what they deserved. However, politicians like Boudin often lie to everyone to get their votes. He told them his policies would make the city safer.
It doesn’t take an advanced degree from an Ivy League school to understand the progressive policies of California Democrats are dangerous to its citizens. It remains to be seen if things are going to change or not. The voters of the state seem to keep voting for the same corrupt and useless politicians every year.
