The southern border of the United States is wide open. People are pouring into the nation in record numbers. The liberal mainstream media will have you believe it is families looking for a better life and following the American dream.
The truth is, the people illegally crossing the border are single twenty-something males. There are families but those are the minority of the people risking their lives enduring all kinds of threats to get into the United States.
The Biden Administration does not care who comes across the border or how many come across. They see the immigrants as a chance to reshape the nation. They have shipped them all over the country to reshape the coming election and secure Democrat votes for years to come.
Governor DeSantis of Florida struck a blow for Conservatives across the country this week. He flew two planes full of foreign nationals from the southern border to a place liberals revere. Martha’s Vineyard, a wealthy vacation island off the coast of Massachusetts.
Democrats quickly blamed DeSantis for what they described as a “humanitarian crisis“. They complained because just over just 50 migrants showed up in the liberal playground ending the rich and elite’s summer.
Democrats could not believe it. California Gov. Gavin Newsom asked the US Department of Justice to consider kidnapping charges against the Florida Governor’s administration stemming from the relocation of migrants to blue states.
Hillary Clinton, in her appearance on the Joe Scarborough show to promote the Clinton Foundation, claimed DeSantis was guilty of Human Trafficking. The failed Democrat presidential candidate forgot that the Clinton Foundation is linked to Human Trafficking and other crimes.
The people of Martha’s Vineyard were utterly shocked at the sudden appearance of migrants in their summer vacation spot. They demanded something be done about it. The National Guard was brought in and the migrants were transported off the island to Cape Cod.
Alleged Martha’s Vineyard Facebook and Twitter groups, made of Island residents, began making crude statements about the migrants. Some posts read, “find them permanent housing?! That’s not our job! That’s the job of red state governors! or “looking for a locksmith here in Edgartown”.
An NBC story quoted Max Lefeld, founder of Casa Venezuela Dallas foundation, a charity group dedicated to helping refugees, described the relocation as taking out the trash. The tweet has since been deleted.
Governor DeSantis was quick to fire back at all the criticism for bringing the problems the border states are experiencing to the liberal elite. At a Florida Trucker’s event, he told President Joe Biden to do his damn job and secure the border.
He would also explain to people seeking asylum in Florida that it is not a good idea. “If you have folks who are inclined to think Florida is a good place (to live), our message to them is we are not a sanctuary state, and it is better to be able to go to a sanctuary jurisdiction.
DeSantis made a politically genius move. The media refuses to cover the border crisis. He forced them to shine a light on the massive issue at the border that the Biden administration pretends does not exist. He also exposed the liberals for the hypocrites that they are.
They all feel for the migrants coming across the border. It is a terrible shame. The Government should do everything to help them. But not in my town. Not in Martha’s Vineyard. We do not feel bad enough to help them ourselves. The American military can send them anywhere but here. Point DeSantis.
