In another recent article by One American News Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, a Republican from New York said Republicans are ready to prove how unconstitutional the January 6th committee is. She had asserted before a panel of judges and she stated, “This is merely a witch hunt for patriotic Trump supporters.”
She also argued that the panel fell to address the real issue which was inadequate security at the capital The Empire State lawmaker also said Republicans have a plan to take back the majority to focus on matters that are hurting hardworking Americans. Which includes rising inflation, sky-high gas prices, and the crisis at the border.
How’s minority leader Kevin McCarthy a Republican from California. disappointed five Republicans to the panel, three of which were taken off the panel previously by speaker Nancy Pelosi. In response to this, the House Republican conference chairwoman asserted that the panel is only looking to punish political opponents.
Her remarks came after Former White House economic advisor Peter Navarro was charged with contempt of Congress because he refused to testify before the committee McCarthy along with Congressman Andy Biggs a Republican from Arizona. along with Mo Brooks, a Republican from Alabama, and Jim Jordan a Republican senator from Ohio were also subpoenaed to this panel.
Stefanik was quoted saying she’s working closely with President Trump and his team along with house Republicans to set the record straight and prove the panel’s illegitimacy. “
I’m going to stand up for my constituents in the American people, continue to speak the truth, and work with all of the house Republicans, with Kevin McCarthy to Jim Jordan, to make sure that the facts are out there for the American people to know,” she stated. “And expose what expose Nancy Pelosi does not want the American people to know. Pelosi’s office is the only one off-limits that she bears responsibility for the security posture.”
The oversight committee has announced it will be holding its first public hearing on June 9th. This is a big step for America as we will find out whether what happened at the Capitol was a sham or if there were some hostile intent behind it.
January 6th was a day for America that came to a turning point because you saw the Democrats trying to frame the Republicans as these people that are trying to harm America they don’t want to accept the election results but at the time the election hadn’t happened so it was this whole stupid thing.
