Annie Farmer was 16 years old when Jeffrey Epstein and his paramour, Ghislaine Maxwell lured her to Epstein’s Zorro Ranch in New Mexico during the summer of 1996.

What she thought was a fun-filled experience, soon turned into a weekend in hell. Maxwell massaged her, and the British sex offender violently groped her.

Not long after, Annie’s sister Maria discovered this incident.

Maria was also a victim of Epstein, who convinced her that he would her painting career.

Maria contacted the New York Police and Federal Bureau of Investigation and shared her knowledge about Epstein and the troves of young women he lures into his houses. But the FBI did not take action. Worse, these authorities claim that they do not know of the contact.

Farmer contradicted this statement and said that “agents came back to her, years later, with questions.”

The sisters also went to leaders of New York’s art scene where the couple was known and even reached out to a national magazine.

Sadly, their efforts went to no avail.

In an interview with The Independent, Annie lamented, “It can feel really tiring,” expressing her views on the recent move to unseal Epstein’s documents.

“I was glad to hear that these documents were being unsealed and there was going to be a little bit more to be shed on some of the players involved, but it was also something I was trying not to focus on too much.”

The sisters distanced themselves from New York since their reports fell on deaf ears.

It took twenty-eight years since Maria reached federal authorities to unravel the entire crimes Epstein had committed.

But questions surrounding why the FBI turned down the Farmer sisters’ report remain unanswered.

Annie remarked, “There’s been sensational aspects of the case and a lot of focus on who’s been on what plane, on what date, and what does that mean.”

“But we still haven’t had any answers in terms of: Why was that FBI report not followed up on? Why was nothing done earlier to stop him?”

According to Maria, it was in 2006 that the FBI agents filed charges for her, the same period when the Palm Beach Police Department conducted an initial investigation on Epstein’s sex ring.

However, the sex offender was able to arrange a “sweetheart” deal, allowing him to serve his 13-month sentence in his private wing at the Palm Beach County Stockade. He was also allowed to leave the premises to “work” at a charity, which he dissolved after he was released.

Epstein’s alleged house arrest was unlocked, where his jail guards wore business suits instead of uniforms. He also flew to and from New York and to his private island, Little St. James, during the time of his prosecution.

The federal authorities made things worse for the victims as they agreed not to go after Epstein’s associates.

“The distressing fact is that while that investigation was going on in 2006, years after seeing it initially reported… other clients of ours were being abused. This happened right under the nose of the FBI,” blasted Jennifer Freeman, Farmer sisters’ lawyers, on The Independent.

In 2023, the Farmers sent a notice of claim to the FBI through Freeman, expressing the intent to pursue a case against the agency. The sisters argued that the authorities had done nothing to prosecute Epstein, “nothing at all regarding reports of child sexual abuse material at Epstein’s homes.”

Freeman added that the Farmers and Sarah Ransome plan to indict the FBI.
