Retired FBI Agent John Guandolo joined Drew Hernandez on Friday to discuss President Biden’s dark, disturbing speech where he declared “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic.”
Guandolo said Biden’s predicate for decrying MAGA Republicans as “extremists” starts “when President Biden said in the summer of 2021 that “white supremacy is the greatest lethal threat to America.”
“That’s not true, but it is the narrative they’re trying to push,” Guandolo continued. “And so, if you take that as a starting point – which unfortunately a lot of people do, because the media tells them that non-stop – then everything else flows from there.”
The retired FBI agent went on to explain how the Department of Justice (DOJ) is currently targeting conservatives, Trump supporters, and Christians.
“What we’re seeing now is an all-out assault by the Biden Administration – through the Department of Justice, in particular – against conservatives, Christians, and Trump supporters,” Guandolo said.
“They are going after them with a fury that we have not seen in recent memory,” he continued. “And so, I think this is something that people need to be paying very close attention to.”
Guandolo went on to say that the DOJ is currently “weaponizing the law” to target conservatives and that this is “something that we’ve seen happen in other countries, but it’s never happened on this level in the United States.”
“The Department of Justice is now weaponizing the law to go after their political enemies,” Guandolo said. “This is something that we’ve seen happen in other countries, but it’s never happened on this level in the United States.”
The retired FBI agent concluded by urging Americans to “wake up” and “pay attention” to what is happening, because “our Republic is under assault.”
“I would encourage everyone to wake up and pay attention to what’s happening, because our Republic is under assault,” Guandolo said. “And if we don’t do something about it, I’m afraid we’re going to lose it.”
Guandolo, who is now the president of Understanding the Threat, explained to Drew Hernandez how Biden has falsely claimed that white supremacists are the greatest threat to America.
He said, “white supremacists” are the “most lethal terrorist threat” to the US in April 2021 to a joint session of Congress. He said “According to the intelligence community, terrorism from white supremacy is the most lethal threat to the homeland today,” in June 2021.
Guandolo believes that the Department of Justice is going after conservatives because they are seen as a threat to the Biden administration.
“The Department of Justice right now, under Biden and his Attorney General Merrick Garland, are going after conservatives,” Guandolo said. “That’s who they’re targeting.”
He explained that the DOJ is “targeting people based on their political beliefs.”
“They’re looking at people who are critical of the government, people who are critical of the President, and they’re classifying them as extremists,” Guandolo said. “And so what we see happening is conservatives are being targeted.”
Guandolo said that this is “an incredibly dangerous situation.”
“You have a situation where the Department of Justice is going after people based on their political beliefs,” Guandolo said. “That is not what the Department of Justice is supposed to do.”
Guandolo explained that the DOJ is supposed to go after people who have committed crimes, not people who hold certain political beliefs.
