Fearless Forecast: Trump to Win 312 Electoral Votes in November, the Biggest Victory in Recent GOP History

Former President Donald Trump’s unprecedented rise in polls since last year is out to achieve the biggest blowout in Republican history in the 2024 election.

An analysis by Decision Desk HQ, which compiles polls across the nation, predicts that the GOP leader will win more than 300 electoral votes, as many states recently flipped in favor of him.

A forecast by Newsweek said that “[Trump] will win a total of 312 Electoral votes in November, the biggest number a GOP candidate has received since George H. W. Bush’s 1988 victory when he received 426 votes.”

Projections based on a recent survey reveal that the Republican presumptive presidential nominee will claim a landslide victory in 26 primary states, with enough scores to secure most or all of a state’s delegates at the Republican convention this year.

At the current rate, as predicted by the Decision HQ, Trump would have 1,774 delegates with the current rate he is going.

According to Ballotpedia, this score surpassed the 1,234 figure he only needs to acquire to secure the nomination.

The pollster also noted that the former president is slated to win key battleground states, including Arizona and Nevada. Polls also reveal that Trump will likely win the “blue wall” of swing states, which are Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

Liberty Vittert, a statistician and Professor of the Practice of Data Science at the Olin Business School at Washington University, remarked: “Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania all went to Trump by less than a point in 2016 and then flipped back in favor of Biden by very narrow margins in 2020. They proved decisive in both of those elections.”

Furthermore, the Newsweek article said that Trump toppled even the electoral votes achieved by the Democrats in recent history.

“The 312 electoral votes Trump is predicted to win would be more than the 306 Biden achieved in 2020, as well as the 304 Trump was awarded during his 2016 election victory over Clinton. The largest-ever presidential victory in terms of electoral votes was achieved by Ronald Reagan in 1984, who won 525 out of the possible 538 electoral votes after winning all but one of the 50 states in a resounding victory over Walter Mondale.”

Meanwhile, the GOP leader during an interview with Fox News remarked he is not focusing on his Republican rival anymore, saying that he’s not sure if Haley is “even really in the race” at this point.

To prove this, during his victory speech at South Carolina, the former president never once mentioned Haley and instead pointed his attention to beating Biden in November.

“I was honored that I received the largest vote in the history of the state — I’m with Senator Lindsey Graham right now, and he just told me we received the largest vote by double — we beat the last record.”

“So that’s a great compliment to all of the people and to making America great again.”

Trump had secured another 44 delegates in time for the RNC nomination this summer.
