FLIP-FLOPS: Kamala Ditches Plastic Straw Ban Pledge

With this coming election dubbed as the most important election in the US in recent history, one cannot help but wonder why the Democraps nominated the worst candidate ever. And it’s not just about her annoying laugh or how she crawled her way to the top, but Commie Kamala, up until today, hasn’t advanced any program of action that is truly, authentically, hers.

Aside from copying President Donald Trump’s ban on tax tips, she has been campaigning for a border wall, which they have opposed for a long time.

But wait, there’s more. Just recently, the incumbent Vice President, Lying Kamala Harris, wanted to remove the ban on plastic straws. Talk about flip-flopping queen.

In 2019, Comrade Kamala asserted that America should ban plastic straws to address a “climate crisis” while admitting that paper straws get soggy over time.

“I think we should, yes.”

“I mean, look, I’m going to be honest: It’s really difficult to drink out of a paper straw-like, if you don’t gulp it down immediately, it starts to bend, and then the little thing catches it. So, we gotta kind of perfect that one a little bit more.”

She also pushed for “innovation” on alternatives to these plastic straws.

Cackling Kamala said, “Innovation is a process. But you know, let’s encourage innovation. I think we can do a little better than some of those flimsy plastic straws.”

“We do need to ban the plastic.”

But of course, there’s no justification for why there should be a ban on plastic straws from Harris back then. The truth, this ban only intends to satisfy the caprice of globalists, like Klaus Schwab.

However, in a report by Axios on Thursday, Team Kamala seemed to backtrack on the policy.

“Banning plastic straws to protect the environment and marine life is the latest progressive issue on which Harris and her campaign have either declined to comment or changed her position,” according to the article.

Many parts of the country have banned plastic straws as concerns have grown about plastic pollution in oceans and waterways,” it added.

However, when asked for Harris’ comment on the issue, her staffers answered: She doesn’t support banning plastic straws.”

“She cast the tie-breaking vote on the most consequential legislation to combat climate change and create clean energy jobs in history, and as President, she is going to be focused on expanding on that progress,” the statement continued.

“She joked even then about how crappy paper straws are and the need to come up with better eco-friendly alternatives.”

Before this, she also walked back on her call to ban fracking, which she remarked in 2020 that “there’s no question, I’m in favor of banning fracking.”
