Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) absolutely slammed Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) on social media the other day. Swalwell attempted to make a connection between Lauren Boebert and guns with the Highland Park shooter.
Swalwell tweeted a picture of Boebert holding a rifle alongside a picture of the Highland Park shooter, Robert “Bobby” Crimo III. The caption read, “Let’s start drawing straight lines.”
Crimo killed seven people and injured more than two dozen people on July 4, at a parade in Highland Park, Illinois.
Of course, firebrand Boebert shot back. She responded, “I get that Eric Swalwell isn’t a fan of our constitutional rights and is desperate to distract from his repeated political failures, but the only straight line that needs to be drawn is from Eric Swalwell to Fang Fang to the Chinese Communist Party.”
She added, “I will make sure that line gets drawn when we take back the House.”
“Law-abiding gun owners won’t be smeared and disarmed every time a California failed presidential candidate rolls out of bed with a Chinese spy and tries to blame us for the conduct of others.”
“Yes, let’s. How’s Fang Fang these days?”
She added later:
“@EricSwalwell, give it up creep.”
“Did Fang Fang block you on WeChat? You can’t date me.”
“Democrats love to talk about dangerous rhetoric. Swalwell is a Russia Hoax conspirator and failed presidential candidate that slept with a Chinese spy.
Now he’s comparing me to a deranged murderer. When will Democrats condemn HIS dangerous rhetoric?”
Swalwell is known for his relationship with Chinese spy, Christine Fang.
The New York Post reported:
The 40-year-old congressman was among a group of Bay Area Democrats targeted by the honeytrap — also known as Christine Fang — who entered the US as a college student in 2011 and spent the next four years wooing the lawmakers to get close to sensitive government intelligence, according to a report in Axios.
Swalwell, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, has cooperated with federal investigations into Fang, according to his spokesperson.
Fang — accused of being an operative for China’s Ministry of State Security, the country’s top intelligence organization — first interacted with Swalwell when he served on the Dublin City Council in California, according to Politico.
In 2012, Swalwell defeated longtime Democratic incumbent Rep. Pete Stark, a stunning upset that made him a star member of the incoming freshman class.
A couple years later, Fang was reportedly bundling donor checks for Swalwell’s re-election campaign and also helped place an intern in his office, according to the Axios report, which cited current and former US intelligence officials.
There is no evidence of any illegal contributions being made, and Federal Election Commission records don’t indicate that Fang made any donations.

Darn, there’s that pesky, “double standard”, that the socialist left, lives by.
