Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis on Wednesday assured the country that “no Floridian is going to be fired over these jabs” in his interview with Fox News’ Hannity

In this interview, the Republican Governor shared an update on the Florida legislature which is about to call a special session to ensure protection for the state’s workers and parents protection their constitutional rights.

“We are really leading the fight for freedom in this country. We are going to have a special session next week; we’re going to do a number of things. One, no Floridian is going to be able to be fired over these jabs. We want people to be able to keep their jobs and not be thrown out of work. We’re providing protection.” The governor said.

“We are also going to ban any type of mandates for vaccines for school children; that’s a parent’s decision, that is not something that is going to be forced on children.” He added.

“And of course, we are fighting back against Biden’s unconstitutional OSHA rule. We’re in court in the Eleventh Circuit. The Fifth Circuit has already ruled, and I think the Eleventh’s going to be positive, as well. And so we’re fighting them on all fronts.” He continued.

Referring to The Occupational Safety and Health Administration [OSHA], the Biden Administration’s unconstitutional and tyrannical vaccine mandate for private citizens. It forces employers with over 100 employees to ensure all employees are fully vaccinated or pay thousands of dollars worth of fines.

This rule is set to go into effect starting Jan. 4 and will undermine the constitutional rights of millions of Americans.

According to Governor DeSantis, the state is considering withdrawing from the oversight of the OSHA. The state legislature last week offered its proposal last week and it will be discussed in the special session all throughout this week. Florida has a GOP majority in both state chambers.

“If OSHA, the Department of Labor and OSHA, is going to be weaponized as a way to hold hostage businesses throughout the state of Florida, no problem. We want a different plan, we want out of OSHA. We’ll submit our own regulatory authority and say goodbye to the federal government.” House Speaker Chris Sprowls (R) said at a press conference.

“After 40 years in the private sector running businesses that depend on an in-person workforce, where significant safety risks have to be mitigated, I am shocked to see such an unconstitutional mockery of the important role of OSHA.” Said Senate President Wilton Simpson (R) in a statement.

The state legislature is also considering a second option in this special session, a proposal requiring employers to allow vaccine exemptions for workers which will prohibit the Florida State Surgeon General from forcing citizens to get vaccinated against their will. This will protect both government and private employees from Biden’s tyrannical policy.
