Guilty! Former Democrat Nevada Official Killed Investigative Reporter

Evil Democrats stop at nothing to protect their interest, even to the point of killing somebody in the name of power and money.

We’ve heard about this before — Clinton murdered witnesses to secure position and control, and the CIA assassinated John F. Kennedy, but even low-ranking minions are no different.

Robert Telles, a former public administrator in Clark County, Nevada was found guilty of murdering Jeff German, Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter, during the Labor Day of 2022.

The reporter was stabbed to death in a side yard of his home.

German is a hard-hitting investigative journalist who often publishes critical stories against Telles.

The trial lasted eight days, starting on August 12, while the jury deliberated for almost 12 hours.

Telles shook his head while the verdict was handed down last Wednesday in Clark County District Court.

In 2022, the then-Clark County Public Administrator lost elections, partly due to German’s articles discussing his conduct in office. Among the allegations Telles faces include “emotional stress, bullying, and favoritism.”

Telles was taken into custody after police officers searched his home.

Jurors are now set to enter the penalty phase of the trial to decide on Telles’ sentence, while prosecutors clarified that they are not seeking the death penalty.

The former Nevada official could face life imprisonment without parole, life with parole eligibility at 20 years, or 20 to 50 years in prison.

Meanwhile, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson remarked that it’s odd that the jury took a while before deciding.

“The jury hit the ball out of the park this time, they hit a home run by getting the right verdict,” said Wolfson.

During the penalty phase, the jury will hear additional testimonies and evidence to help them consider the prison sentence Telles should receive.

Telles vehemently denied killing the journalist and claimed that he was a victim of a broad conspiracy of people who were allegedly against his anti-corruption effort while in office.

“I am not the kind of person who would stab someone. I didn’t kill Mr. German,” he quipped.

“And that’s my testimony.”

Prosecutor Christopher Hamner argued that it is beyond doubt that Telles is guilty, comparing the decision as “connecting the dots” based on overwhelming evidence presented – including DNA that matched Telles’, found on German’s fingernails.

Hamner added that German fought to the death against his attacker and that the former official faulted the journalist for damaging his career.

According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, German was among the 17 media workers killed in the US since 1992.
