The “Gin and Juice” rapper sings a different tune on Donald Trump in an interview with the Sunday Times in London.
Snoop Dogg, when asked about his opinion on the former president quips, “Donald Trump?”
“He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me.”
“He pardoned Michael Harris,” Snoop added.
Harris is Snoop Dogg’s partner for his first recording label, Death Row Records. He was found guilty of drug trafficking and attempted murder. In January 2021, Trump pardoned Harris.
The rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr., remarked, “So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”
But when asked about his endorsement for the 2024 presidential race, the rapper stopped short and said,
“I may have to,…Because there are mixed views on that, so I want to see what the people say,” Broadus Jr. noted.
Snoop Dogg’s statement comes as a surprise, as the rapper had been a staunch critic of Trump’s presidency. He even publicly slammed Trump when he won in 2016.
However, in 2021, Snoop Dogg seemed to have mellowed down and gave props to Trump for his decision on Harris.
The rapper said, “I love what they did… That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out.”
Snoop Dogg’s recent change of heart, shows a significant shift in the public’s view on Trump as he leads in polls against Biden for the 2024 presidential race.
Additionally, Trump is well-received in the Black community. According to recent polling from Bloomberg, Trump is geared to win more Black votes than any other Republican presidential candidate in history, with an estimate of 14 percent and 30 percent of the Black vote share as the country opens the election year.
The Morning Consult also reported last December that Black voters are losing confidence in Joe Biden while Trump is gaining support.
Meanwhile, Trump has been enjoying strong support from Latino and Black rappers such as Sexxy Red, who thanked him for pardoning Lil Wayne; Kodak Black, Kanye West, Lil Pump, Benny the Butcher, Waka Flocka Flame, and Azealia Banks.
Even wrestling champion and Hollywood celebrity Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson could not deny Trump’s popularity as he praised the supporters of the former president.

As the tide begins to turn red in favor of Donald Trump, more and more celebrities are joining the Trump train.
Performing last November 17 at the University of Arizona, Lil Pump got the crowd chanting “We want Trump!”
Before his performance went viral on social media, the Rapper took to Instagram to flaunt his new hairstyle which he dyed red, white, and blue. He captioned this on Instagram with “Pump for Trump.”
Last week, the Florida native also attended Trump’s rally. “He’s one of the few — rapper Lil Pump!” the GOP candidate shouted.
Lil Pump began supporting Donald Trump in his reelection bid in 2020. The “Gucci Gang” rapper explained his support for the former President and slammed Biden for his proposed tax rates. In a video he posted on Instagram, he said, “F*** I look like paying an extra 33 is a tax for Biden, b* ass–. F sleepy Joe.”
Adding to the numbers is Michael Rapaport, a rabid Trump critic. In his podcast this week, the actor and comedian ranted about how grave the current Israel-Hamas conflict is and its barbarity over its recent attack at Israel’s border.
Rapaport railed against the growing anti-Jew sentiment in America and hit on pro-Palestinian leftists rallying against Israel and the Jewish community.
“You think Hamas is dope? F— you,” rants Rapaport.
He then said that “voting for Trump might be the option.”
“If it comes down to…Donald Trump and Smokin’ Joe Biden, I’m sorry. I am sorry. Voting for…Donald Trump is on the table. I’m sorry!”
Rapper Azealia Banks also supports Donald Trump in his 2024 presidential run. The singer said, “Nothing can take [Trump] down.”
Azealia further expressed that “keeping Biden in office is elder abuse.“
Last October, Rapper Wake Flocka unapologetically endorsed Trump’ for 2024 presidential run, despite openly attacking him in the past.
Flocka tweeted “Trump 2024” and shared a photo of him next to Trump in front of a presidential seal.
