Since the beginning of the the Covid outbreak, Democrats have used the virus as a tool to keep Americans in constant lockdowns in an attempt to strip us of our rights and expand their power.
Fast forward nearly two years and blue states under the control of Democrats continue to push for new restrictions, lockdowns and mandates, while red states continue to open their economies and promote freedom and liberty.
In Democrat ran states, masks and vaccine mandates have been the biggest infringement on American rights, as now in a growing list of places including NYC and Boston now require proof of vaccination to live normal lives and do thins such as visit restaurants and concerts.
What is the Democrats rationale for all of this? “Just follow the science”, but of course, this is nothing but bull, as nearly everything the Democrats push for is not rooted in any scientific reasoning such as forcing children to eat outside in the freezing cold for lunch while wearing masks indoors despite kids being the lowest at risk for Covid.
That leaves the bigger question, what is the real reason for mandates and restrictions? That is actually very simple, it comes down to power and control. One Democrat who is no stranger for exploiting Covid for her own benefit is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
This has led House Republicans to file a lawsuit against Nancy Pelosi for her ridiculous mask mandates for the members of Congress. Kentucky GOP Rep. Thomas Massie said “Nancy Pelosi is not just a tyrant, she’s a hypocrite. And she has one set of rules for herself and another set of rules for everybody else in the House… she has deducted money directly from our salary, which is in blatant violation of the Constitution. Now, I know a lot of people aren’t sympathetic to congressmen having their salaries cut, but whatever she could do to us, she will do to the general public. And that’s what I realized this summer when 10 of us went down to the floor and blatantly and openly violated the mask rule… but she’s either not very smart or doesn’t have good lawyers because she violated the 27th Amendment to the Constitution and the base Constitution, which both say we can’t change our own salaries”.
A Federal Judge has heard the first initial oral arguments for the lawsuit. There could be potential for big news with this moving forward.
