Fox News continues its ability to break records on television. It shouldn’t be a surprise since Fox News is the only mainstream news network that leans conservative. Other conservative channels such as Newsmax, OAN, NTD, or Epoch Times are still obscure or unavailable on basic channel packages.

Epoch Times or Newsmax are far better conservative news outlets, but unfortunately, we are stuck with Fox News as the head of conservative media.

According to Nielsen Media Research, FNC remains the highest-rated cable news network. FNC continues to surpass its competitors CNN and MSNBC. Sean Hannity smashed another record with his primetime show.

Conservative Brief reported:

“Sean’s authenticity and insightful commentary have created one of the most enduring connections with our audience and it’s been an honor to watch him over the years. A FOX News original, he has helped innovate the industry, and we are incredibly proud of his extraordinary success,” Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said of Hannity’s longevity and success.

Hannity said, “I am extremely grateful to FOX News Media and to our loyal, dedicated viewers whom I am proud to serve every night.”

Sean Hannity has been a host for over 25 years which is another record. Originally Hannity was co-hosting with Alan Colmes. One was conservative and the other liberal; it was a fascinating dynamic and honestly was better than “The Five.”

Fox News needs to be taken with a grain of salt. While people like Hannity and Carlson hit all the right notes to get their audience riled up, they are still loyalists to Fox News. That’s a problem because while Hannity claims he is all about the truth and facts, he is only for the truth when it meets the bottom line.

Take, for example, January 6th, a.k.a; D-day for the left. The Leftist media tried to paint Hannity as a traitor and that he had inside knowledge.

In the letter sent by the January 6th committee through Liz Chenney, the letter quoted a text sent by Hannity to Mark Meadows, Trump’s chief of staff.

“Guys, we have a clear path to land the plane in 9 days. He can’t mention the election again. Ever. I did not have a good call with him today. And worse, I’m not sure what is left to do or say, and I don’t like not knowing if it’s truly understood. Ideas?”

Hannity gave some advice to Trump, saying:

“No more stolen election talk,” it was reported that Hannity sent this text to Kayleigh McEnany, Trump’s press secretary, who is now back with Fox News.

Hannity also said:

“He should announce will lead the nationwide effort to reform voting integrity. Go to Fl and watch Joe mess up daily. Stay engaged. When he speaks, people will listen.”

“Go to FL and watch Joe mess up daily” is critical evidence of where Hannity’s loyalties lie. Remember, the owners of Fox News donated to the Biden administration, not to Trump. They were the ones who announced that Biden won Arizona first. Don’t forget the friendly relationship between Hannity and Trump went sour during this time. Trump’s response through a spokesperson on CNN:

“I disagree with Sean on that statement and the facts are proving me right,”

There was a moment in time when Fox News, including Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson, distanced themselves from Trump and labeled everything he said as conspiracy theories. It was like watching CNN; saying the name George Soros was also forbidden.

Whether or not Tucker Carlson or Hannity are now seeing the light is debatable. Give credit where credit is due; Hannity got into heated arguments over Chris Wallace and was part of the reason for Wallace’s departure from Fox. Then there is Carlson’s deep dive into January 6th, which led to two longtime conservative commentators leaving.

Stephen Hayes and Jonah Goldberg left Fox News over Tucker Carlson’s three-part series on January 6th. According to them, the series relied on fabrication and conspiracy theories to exonerate the Trump supporters. As a countermeasure to Carlson’s show, Baier aired a segment that dismissed the claims that Antifa members were pretending to be Trump fans.

According to NPR:

Veteran figures on Fox’s news side, including political anchors Baier and Chris Wallace, shared their objections with Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and its president of news, Jay Wallace. Those objections rose to Lachlan Murdoch, the chairman, and CEO of the network’s parent company, Fox Corp.

Remember that Suzanne Scott said Sean has authenticity and insightful commentary. Fox News also moved to push news anchors Martha MacCallum and Shannon Bream into time slots that are less visible in favor of Greg Gutfeld’s show.

This decision has led to the show “Gutfeld” beating Colbert and other late-night show hosts.

Maga Conservatives reported:

‘Gutfeld!’ made television history, becoming the first late-night cable program to finish the month as the most-watched late-night show in all of broadcast and cable, outpacing CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for the month of August.

So what is going on at Fox News Headquarters?

It may seem that Fox News appears to be open to showing different opinions, but it is the birthplace of RINOs. Hayes and Goldberg announced they would launch “The Dispatch,” another group claiming they are the true conservatives. It’s good to know which sites to avoid. It is the hill they want to die on. Of course, they aren’t doing it to be martyrs, but because supporting Trump goes against their values, as they claim.

The high ratings for shows like Hannity and Gutfeld is what Fox News wanted all along. In their view, it is better to be on the losing side; that way, more angry Americans watch their shows. At this point, it seems that Hannity and Tucker Carlson have the same sentiments. We may agree with what they say, but words don’t mean anything if it is only lip service.
