Hillary Clinton is appalled by the recent events surrounding Donald Trump’s legal case.

The former presidential candidate took to Twitter to weigh in on the ongoing investigation into the raid of Trump’s Florida home, Mar-a-Lago.

Clinton attempted to show Trump’s guilt by referencing the ‘Clinton standard’ for prosecution, that she was not charged so Trump should not be, as a false idea.

She was quickly debunked by national security lawyer Bradley P. Moss, who pointed out that Clinton was investigated by the FBI during her time as Secretary of State.

Despite Clinton’s best efforts, it looks like Trump is in the clear – for now. But her hashtag campaign may have just given him the boost he needs in the court of public opinion.

Clinton: “I can’t believe we’re still talking about this, but my emails…As Trump’s problems continue to mount, the right is trying to make this about me again. There’s even a “Clinton Standard.” The fact is that I had zero emails that were classified.

“Comey admitted he was wrong after he claimed I had classified emails. Trump’s own State Department, under two different Secretaries, found I had no classified emails. That’s right: ZERO.”

“I’m more tired of talking about this than anyone, but here we are. If you’re interested in the facts, you can read more here.”

A federal judge has given his approval for former President Donald Trump to create a “special master” to examine materials that the FBI seized from his Mar-a-Lago estate last month.

The Trump-appointed District Judge Aileen Cannon made a major decision in favor of the former President today. This win comes after four weeks of criticism from the Biden administration and the Department of Justice.

The special master, a neutral third party, will now have to review the seized materials and determine which are relevant to the ongoing investigation into Trump’s ties to Russia. The appointment of a special master is relatively rare, but it will help to ensure that Trump’s privacy rights are protected during the investigation.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing and has accused the Biden administration of politically motivated persecution. “This is a witch hunt, plain and simple,” Trump said in a statement last month. “The fact that they broke into my club, Mar-a-Lago, while I was in Florida shows how desperate they are.”

The special master appointed by Judge Cannon will now have to sift through the materials seized by the FBI and determine which are relevant to the investigation. This process could take months, but it will help to ensure that Trump’s privacy rights are protected.

The appointment of a special master is relatively rare, but it is not unprecedented. In 2016, a federal judge appointed a special master to review emails seized from Hillary Clinton’s private server. The special master in that case ultimately determined that more than 30,000 of the emails were work-related and should be turned over to the State Department.
