ICE Lost Track of 32,000 Unaccompanied Migrant Children Released From Custody

The truth about the Democrats was that they were never really concerned about the people — this was apparent in the Biden-Harris regime’s three years of failed governance after claiming that they would fight to uplift the lives of every American.

Nicholas Pagnotta lamented, “They’re always full of shit.”

It’s not that these liberals don’t give a damn, they just don’t care about you.

“Liberals pretend to be the party of tolerance and love when it comes to LGBTQIA+ but then will scream in your face calling you a racist bigot if you are not a Democrat.”

Another example is how they would speak to voters about ‘reparation for slavery’ even though “everyone alive today never having been a slave or slave owner.”

They say they cared about the people but allowed “record levels of human trafficking,” Pagnotta added.

Anything they say is merely lip service just as how they pledged to care for the migrant children without parents yet allowing them to slip without a trace.

In a report by Inspector General Joseph Cuffari of the Department of Homeland Security, 448,000 unaccompanied children arrived in the US from 2018 to 2023.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued them notices to attend court hearings, but at least 32,000 failed to appear.

According to Cuffari, once these minors were released from ICE custody, they couldn’t be tracked.

“Although we identified more than 32,000 [unaccompanied children] who did not appear for their immigration court dates, that number may have been much larger had ICE issued NTAs to the more than 291,000 UCs who were not placed into removal proceedings,” Cuffari said.

The inspector general also hit ICE’s failure to serve notices, which reduces the chance of contacting these children.

“Without an ability to monitor the location and status of UCs, ICE has no assurance UCs are safe from trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor,” the report states.

These children were released to so-called qualified sponsors without properly vetting, placing these children at risk of sex trafficking, child labor, and other forms of exploitation.

One federal whistleblower remarked that the ICE put these children into the hands of criminals and sex traffickers.

Tara Rodas, who was recruited as a federal government employee under the Department of Health and Human Services to help address the influx of migrant kids in 2021, thought she would be doing a noble cause.

To her surprise, she found that the DHS was handing these children to “Traffickers, members of transnational criminal organizations, bad actors, bad, bad, bad people.”
