Kevin McCarthy (Republican House Minority Leader) announced that if Republican’s retake control of the House in 2022, he will remove at least three Democrats from various committees. In an interview with Breitbart, the California Republican claimed that such a move would be in retaliation to Democrats voting to remove two Republicans from their committees, Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Paul Gosar (R-AZ).
McCarthy hand selected Democratic Reps. Ilhan Omar, Adam Schiff, and Eric Swalwell to the committee. McCarthy said that the Democrats have developed a new phenomenon in which they pick and choose who may be on committees, and never before in the history of Congress has the majority told the minority who may be on the committee he said to Breitbart.
McCarthy questioned what caused Afghanistan to collapse so quickly. He raised to question if the Intel Committee, chaired by Adam Schiff, were more interested in impeachment than in the protection of the American people. When it has been happening on the Democrat side, their own members of the committee state that it is not. He said we need to get an Intel Committee to keep track of what is really occurring all over the world and continue to keep America safe.
McCarthy told voters last month that if they want House Speaker Nancy Pelosi out of office, they can do it in November. McCarthy discussed the status of the country under Joe Biden and what Republicans would do differently in an interview with Fox News. He believes that the greatest thing Americans can do is to get rid of Pelosi and retake control of the U.S. House in the 2022 midterm elections.
McCarthy added that there would be no growing inflation and said in one year there would be a single-party government, unless the people vote. “This is why everyone should go to firepelosi.com… It isn’t simply Republicans, Democrats, and independents. We can accomplish it and make it happen if you care about this nation and want to change the course of history”, he continued.
