The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is set to spend nearly half-million dollars to build a “wall” around Joe Biden’s beach house in Delaware.
As reported by the New York Post on Friday, the DHS and the United States Secret Service (USSS) signed a $456,548 contract with Turnstone Holdings LLC to build a fence around Biden’s Rehoboth house.
This comes as the country is facing a historic surge in illegal immigration thanks to Joe Biden’s policy. As soon as Joe Biden took office, he defended President Trump’s southern border sending a pro-illegal immigration message to people from all around the world.
According to some Border Patrol sources, the CBP detained more than 1.7 million migrants ever since Biden took office. This is the highest total ever recorded in the history of the United States.
On top of it, Biden has never visited the border ever since being elected President. When asked about this on Thursday, he said, “I haven’t had a whole hell of a lot of time to get down.”
Biden’s border czar, Vice President Kamala Harris visited the border just recently in June after bipartisan pushback from both sides. Despite that, the border situation is still out of control because of the mismanagement of the administration.
Politicians from both sides expressed their outrage over this issue recently.
Freshman Republican Congresswoman from Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert
took to Twitter saying: “Biden stopped the border wall, but he directed the Department of Homeland Security to build a half-million dollar wall around his Delaware compound.”
GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said “Joe Biden paid millions per day to NOT build the border wall, but his administration paid over $455,000 to build a wall around his beach house.”
Author Brigitte Gabriel wrote “If walls don’t work, why is Joe Biden spending taxpayer dollars to build one around his Delaware home?”
