Hillary Clinton lost to Kim Kardashian in a humiliating way on her new TV show, “Gutsy”, hosted alongside her daughter Chelsea Clinton.
Hillary Clinton and Kim Kardashian faced off in a legal trivia game, where Kim actually beat Hillary Clinton by a significant margin.
Hillary and Chelsea had Kim on their show to discuss Kim passing her “baby bar” exam and to talk about her criminal justice reform work. Kim just completed her first year in a law apprenticeship program.
“Oh, it was heartbreaking,” Hillary said of the loss.
Kim showcased her knowledge by winning the trivia contest 11-4.
Clinton has a law degree from Yale and said that her loss was more than humbling.
“I think Kim has an unfair advantage,” Chelsea Clinton, Hillary’s co-host said.
“Kim has studied more recently than you.”
Chelsea added in her mom’s defense, “Sometimes, I could see my mom knew what the answer was, but she wouldn’t hit the buzzer in time.”
Hillary said, “We didn’t interview her about fashion, her many lines of commerce, her personal life. We interviewed about what she was doing to help get people who were unjustly or unfairly incarcerated have a second chance.”
Kim is apparently using her high-level celebrity status to bring attention to several criminal cases. She is pushing for the jailed father of a Uvalde, Texas, school shooting victim to be allowed to attend his own child’s funeral.
Fox News reported:
The elder Clinton says she was “really intrigued” at how well Kardashian fared in the test of legal acumen and said she wanted to “put the spotlight on her,” the global influencer billionaire with 329 million Instagram followers. The failed presidential candidate insisted to People that she did not let Kardashian win but rather wanted to help showcase how hard her opponent had worked to achieve her legal knowledge.
Kim Kardashian is the daughter of Robert Kardashian, who gained notoriety as a defense attorney for O.J. Simpson in his 1995 murder trial.
Creator of the billion-dollar women’s shapewear company Skims, Kardashian has made a name for herself as an advocate for criminal justice reform. Her work was acknowledged by President Donald Trump in 2018, whom she successfully lobbied to grant clemency to Alice Johnson, a then-63-year-old great-grandmother who was serving a life sentence for a non-violent drug conviction.
Their show “Gutsy” is based on the Clinton’s 2019 book, “The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience.” Their show is set to premiere on Sept. 9 on Apple TV+.
In a trailer for the show, Hillary tells Rev. Whittney Ijanaten that staying in her marriage with Bill was the “gutsiest” thing she’s ever done.
Many are speculating that Hillary may be eyeing another run for president.
