Governor Doug Ducey (AZ) and Governor Greg Abbott (TX) are leading the alliance.
It was reported:
“These illegal drugs were on their way to communities in Arizona and across our country,” said Governor Ducey. “Thanks to the hard work and vigilance of the Border Strike Force, they never made it. Every Arizonan—every American—should applaud their success.”
The Border Strike Force was created at the direction of Governor Ducey in September of 2015, in the first year of his administration. The mission of the 115-member Strike Force is to protect Arizona communities by stopping the flow of criminals, narcotics, weapons and ammunition trafficked in the state.
This week, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced our nation is on pace to reach the highest number of apprehensions at the border in the last 20 years. In addition, U.S. Customs and Border Protection currently has the highest number of migrant children in custody in the history of the agency.
“We have a crisis,” Governor Ducey said yesterday during a meeting with federal border officials. “We need to call it what it is, and address it as such.”

Almost 500,000 of those arrested were released or turned over to other U.S. federal agencies. Many were handed over to these agencies without a clear path to deportation. In September alone, 192,000 encounters with illegal immigrants were recorded by Border Patrol. All of this has occurred during the eight months of Biden’s presidency.
“Month after month since President Biden took office, the situation at our southern border has only continued to deteriorate,” said Representative Kevin McCarthy. President Biden has not yet visited the border. Experts have pointed to changes in policy leading to relaxed enforcement as the cause for the increase.
Under President Trump, Border Patrol agents caught and released only 17 people in his last full month in office. Under Biden, 60,000 were released in the month of July. A record number of people encountered in the month of September were from countries other than Mexico and key Central American countries.
It is mostly radio silence from the left regarding the “Border Strike Force.” However, their tactics will likely get RINOs like Mitt Romney to shame the governors who joined.
In other words, they haven’t learned that we don’t care what the elite think. We know what is suitable for our country and could care less about what globalists want in their pocketbooks.
It’s about time! Close that damn border and do not open it again until ALL illegals are removed from this country! ALL of them!
