She could have addressed how the government deals with the state of education of Americans, or discussed how DEI policies dumb down students, or how teachers suffer from skyrocketing costs of basic needs — but she did not.
When Jill Biden spoke during the Spring conference of the United Federation of Teachers on Saturday, she opted to trash her husband’s ultimate political opponent, Donald Trump.
The First Lady told 1,200 educators that Trump’s second term would only bring “chaos and division.”
Jill also claimed that her husband was the “best education president.”
She even alleged that Trump (who wakes up as early as six in the morning, starts his day reading the paper and consulting his advisers on issues of the day) only “wakes up every morning caring about one person–and one person only–himself.”
Of course, Jill was cheered since she was speaking in front of a leftist crowd who opted children out of schools during the pandemic, resulting in the deterioration of the quality of life of millions of American youth.
Jill continued slandering the former president, “Donald Trump doesn’t want to strengthen our public education system — he wants to destroy it.”
The first lady’s speech reeks of desperation. She didn’t bother to be discreet in politicizing her remarks and blatantly used the opportunity to throw lies against Trump.
“A world in which public schools are privatized and their funding is gutted, teachers unions are marginalized and lesson plans are censored and books are banned. In America, we don’t ban books,” the FLOTUS continued.
Hypocrite democrats like Jill failed to acknowledge that even their party pushed to ban books, mainly because these books do not align with their concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion and woke indoctrination on students. One example was their attempt to ban the classic novel “To Kill A Mockingbird,” because it was “racist.”
Contrary to the lefties’ claim, conservative book bans target books with pornographic content, especially learning materials assigned to particular grade levels that are not mature enough to fully understand sexually explicit contents.
Additionally, Jill’s husband corrupted the education system by promoting immoral values such as allowing transwomen to beat biological women in sports and opening girls’ restrooms to boys, just because they “identified as female.”
Worse, the Biden administration wasted more than $190 billion of funds allocated to K-12 education to hasten the opening of schools amid the federal government’s COVID-19 recovery campaign.
And after three years, students still fail to catch up after the closures brought about by Biden’s unscientific and impulsive COVID-19 policies.
Researchers from Harvard University and Stanford’s Education Recovery Scorecard found that “students in grades three through eight lost half a year in math and one-third of a year in reading on average during the pandemic.”
The study further concluded, “In most states, achievement gaps between rich and poor districts are even wider now than they were before the pandemic.”
And these are the figures Jill Biden intends to bury as they resort to fearmongering among their constituents.
