He oversees Hunter Biden’s legal concerns, pays his IRS debt, and loans him millions for the mortgage, car payments, and legal fees — who doesn’t want Kevin Morris to be their friend?
Hunter Biden’s “friend” runs an entertainment law firm that represents Hollywood A-listers, such as Matthew McConaughey, Ellen DeGeneres, and Scarlett Johanson. At the same time, he also produced documentaries and was the lawyer for the show, South Park.
In an impeachment inquiry on Thursday, Morris, Hunter’s lifelong confidant, claims that he had “no ulterior motive” when he maintained a financial relationship with Biden despite being embroiled in a series of controversies.
“My only goal is to help my friend and client,” told Morris during the investigation.
Morris also bought Skaneateles LLC from the first son despite “not knowing” the purpose of the company, except that it has a 10 percent stake at a Chinese state investment firm, Bohai Harvest RST Partners. According to their website, BHR Partners has about $3 billion currently invested in different parts of the world.
“I’m not to the point sure, but it was an LLC and — you know, I think it — Hunter actually had a very simple corporate structure personally. I think this was one that was for some purpose that I can’t remember,” Morris said.
The Hollywood lawyer also claimed he has not received any payouts from the Chinese company since taking over in 2021.
The sugar brother also “helped” the first son who was mired with financial woes, loaned him money for his lavish home in California, and paid off his Porsche, legal fees, accountants, and even unpaid taxes.
The entertainment lawyer and businessman also supported Hunter’s attempt as an artist. He assisted Biden in forging an agreement with anonymous buyers through a dealer with connections to the Chinese art market, which was known for corruption.
The “brothers” also worked together to produce Hunter’s self-incriminating memoir.
Morris has been a longtime Democrat funder, the two met in 2019 when the lawyer donated to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign in 2020. Later on, Morris was known as Biden’s “sugar brother” and “fixer. “
“I did not and do not have any expectations of receiving anything from Hunter’s father or the Biden administration in exchange for helping Hunter, nor have I asked for anything from President Biden or his administration,” Morris told the impeachment committee.
“I have loaned Hunter money to help him through his difficulties,” Morris added.
“I am confident Hunter will repay these loans.”
However, how the first son will pay Morris is still a mystery. Hunter’s career was plagued with controversies such as money laundering and influence peddling, which pushed the “Biden brand” to foreign investors.
