A St. Louis looter has been convicted of killing 77-year-old, retired police captain, David Dorn during the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020.
It was reported by the National File at the time, that the BLM riots were so deadly that more unarmed black people were killed by BLM riots in one summer than killed by police in the entire year.
Stephan Cannon, the 26-year-old rioter, and looter were convicted on Wednesday of first-degree murder for the June 2, 2020 slaying of David Dorn.
David Dorn was a retired police captain who served for 38 years in the St. Louis Police Department and 6 more years as Chief of Police in Moline Acres, Missouri.
Dorn was responding to a burglary alarm at his friend’s pawn business when he was shot by Cannon.
David Dorn lay dying in the streets and his death was live-streamed to Facebook by rioters and people passing by.

According to the evidence laid out by prosecutors in court, Black Lives Matter rioter Stephan Cannon fired ten shots at retired officer David Dorn as he responded to the burglary alarm at Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry. Surveillance footage at the shop captured a total of seven subjects at the scene of the looting and murder, at least two of whom were armed, including Cannon.
Jury members reportedly spent just a couple of hours deliberating to convict Cannon of first-degree murder, burglary, and armed criminal action. When he’s sentenced in September, he will face a mandatory life sentence with no possibility of parole. Alongside him, fellow rioter Mark Jackson faces a charge of second-degree murder, as well as one count each of first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary, plus three counts of armed criminal action.
In 2020, Dorn’s widow, Ann Dorn, spoke at the Republican National Convention.
She pleaded for an end to the “violence and destruction” taking over America’s cities.

It was recently reported that civil rights attorney and Fox News contributor Leo Terrell said Tuesday there should be investigations by Congress and state officials into Black Lives Matter’s use of some $90 million in donations after former Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation leader Patrisse Cullors claimed a day earlier than any allegations the group misused those funds are untrue.
“They use their color to exploit and this is very important: corporations handed them this money. So what needs to happen is congressional hearings,” Terrell told “Fox & Friends.”
“Every state in this country, the attorney general needs to call them in. Basically, they need to sell all those homes and return the money because they have done nothing for the Black community at all. It is a game. They have schemed the Black community and they received over $90 million,” he added.
