Kamala Harris, who years ago claimed she was of Indian descent, now asserts she is Black. She would also put on a fake Southern accent when she visited Georgia a few days ago, but she grew up in Canada.
She’s a phony, or as Trump’s VP, JD Vance, would say, a “chameleon.”
Who sees the ‘real’ Kamala? Her staff, who she’s with behind closed doors.
In a 2019 op-ed by professor Terry McAteer for The Union, a California-based newspaper, his son, Gregory, recalled his ‘eye-opening’ experience when he worked as an intern for Harris while she was California Attorney General.
McAteer, a longtime Democrat, wrote that the experience exposed his son to a “side of Kamala Harris which the general public does not know”.
“Harris vocally throws around ‘F-bombs’ and other profanity constantly in her berating of staff and others,” the professor wrote.
“As AG… Harris instructed her entire staff to stand every morning as she entered the office and say, ‘Good Morning General’.
“Gregory was also given instructions to never address Harris nor look her in the eye as that privilege was only allowed to senior staff members.”
McAteer titled his article: “Another Side to Kamala Harris,” and said because her staff feared her reaction, no one dared to initiate an introduce Gregory.
He said, “Never once during the month-long internship did Harris introduce herself to our son (as he was only in an office with 20 paid employees), and the staff was too intimidated by her to introduce him. The only acknowledgment was a form letter of “thanks” signed by Harris given to him on his last day of service.”
In the article, McAteer also said his son was “also given instructions to never address Harris nor look her in the eye as that privilege was only allowed to senior staff members.”
Harris’ mistreatment of her employees didn’t end there.
During her term as VP, no one wanted to be around her, and she had difficulty retaining staff.
Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told Fox News that “nobody lasts very long” while working for her and that “how she treats people around her is a real indication of what she’ll do in the future.”
“It is known in California, and it’s known in Washington. It is a heroic work environment if you work for her,” McCarthy furthered.
OpentheBooks.com, a government watchdog organization, reported that as of July, the Democratic Party nominee for president experienced a 91.5 percent staff turnover rate.
The group lamented that, as per the payroll records, only four of her initial staffers remained employed during her first year as Vice President without interruption.
Overall, her almost 92 percent staff turnover rate surpassed the rate of kid sniffer Biden and former President Trump, according to OpentheBooks.Com.
“It’s always been a problem,” one former Harris aide said in 2022.
“Politics is about relationships and the relationships with the people around you,” added another former staffer.
“I think there’s a lot of improvement needed there.”
