Since the 2016 presidential race, many celebrities have pledged to leave America if Trump was elected. Some even pondered moving to Canada in protest of the GOP leader.
However, Americans will have to wait if these personalities will make good on their promise.
Recently, pop stars Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga trended on X as they threatened to “move out of the country” if Trump is elected president in the 2024 elections.
However, the people seemed unfazed by these threats from these personalities.
One X user said, “I won’t get too excited because they’ve said that before and then they never do”
A Canadian supporter of Trump, said, “Not in Canada please, we have enough,,,”
Some even encouraged the two singers to start packing and bid them goodbye.
For Miley Cyrus, this is not all brand new since she had already expressed her plans to move to Canada when the MAGA leader defeated Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in the last 2016 presidential race.
“My heart is broken into a 100000 pieces…I am moving if [Donald Trump] is my president! I don’t say things I don’t mean!”
However, after the election, Cyrus backtracked and accepted Trump’s victory.
Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, has long been a Clinton fan. In 2016, she endorsed the former State Secretary and even went to Trump Tower when the GOP leader outvoted Clinton.
She is a die-hard liberal who supported Biden in 2020.
In a political rally at Pittsburg, Gaga told voters to “Vote for Joe.”
“He’s a good person.”
Gaga even went on to attack Trump on the stage and said “Now is your time to vote against Trump.”
What the singer failed to mention is that the man he is endorsing also faces allegations of sexual misconduct, mirroring the accusations he’s leveling against Trump.
Tara Reade, a former Senate staffer, accused Joe of sexually assaulting her when she was a staff assistant in his office.
Biden was also slammed by former Nevada Lieutenant Governor nominee Lucy Flores whom he gave “a big slow kiss” on the back of her head at an event for her 2014 campaign.
Unlike his daughter, Lady Gaga’s father goes all-out on Trump. In a now-deleted post, Joe Germanotta posted “@realDonaldTRump 2020”.
“You may have noticed my political and spiritual beliefs are different. liberty and freedom of choice would not be political,” he added in another tweet
Several celebrities have also promised to bid America goodbye in protest of Trump, including Whoopi Goldberg, Amy Schumer, Chelsea Handler, Barbara Streisand, Lena Dunham, Samuel L. Jackson, Cher, and President Barrack Obama.

Good I can not wait for you to leave never liked you to start with.
